  • Thank you for producing such an informative video. Oh, and great barging!

If you don't mind my asking, how long have you had your E65 735i? Have you had any/many problems with it? Also how is the build quality for things such as squeaks and rattles?

  • @granthibbett Hi, I've had it for about 2.5 years, and had a few issues with two HT leads failing and a water leak. Also, I have two error lights permanently on - to do with the seat sensor in the passenger seat, but I just ignore them. Sometimes the PArking Sensor doesn't work. So, it's not perfect, but generally not a problem. It's still cheaper to run than buying a new car and losing the depreciation, and it's brilliant to drive, I love it! No squeeks or rattles - just electronic issues.

  • @Jon7Lane Thanks for your reply. Good to hear about the lack of squeaks & rattles. FYI - I have an E46 330i and also suffer with intermittent parking sensors. Anyway, will keep browsing Autotrader for an E65.

  • Stupid english steering wheel on right side!! Why u re diferent than whole world?? Except Australia and New Zealand which were your colonies...

  • @MrRAKAHIDZA Because we know best

  • @PatSharpsNastyMullet ha ha u know best so u buying cars from germany. yes u re the best .. the steering wheel on right side is shit, what happens when u go in europe? is it easy to drive there? hmm ..

  • @MrRAKAHIDZA Why would I want to drive into Europe? I'd fly. I think perhaps you would sit in the back?

  • @MrRAKAHIDZA I think we were first to create driving rules a long time ago, with horse and cart etc. when the right arm was to remain free for other purposes such as shaking hands and sword fighting, and this is where it all began. Other countries decided to drive on the other side, but we remain true to our heritage. No big deal, do what you like, it really is not a big deal...be cool!

  • @MrRAKAHIDZA Different because the rest of the world were too stupid to follow our example. Left-handed driving is horrible since you are operating the steering wheel with the left hand whilst shifting. Typical of foreigners to do things wrongly though.

  • @blackvapour So what for those who are left-armed?

  • i have a question about those 2 buttons on the steering wheel what those do ?? cheers mate great car a really piece of art :D

  • Well, I own a Bugatti Veyron super sport, and a Golf II GTI special edition!!!

  • 1:08

what do those buttons on the turn indicator stalk do?

    (the eye-looking things?)

  • that is a very nice car i am looking at purchasing a 2004 745 or a 850csi beautiful cars but have not had any luck finding the 850 very hard to find here in new zealand haha.good presentation of a 7 series

  • We had a 2006 one and it was the 730d and it was a nice car but features like the closing doors piss me off the only optional extras we had on ours are the 4 zone climate control the alloys and i think the soft close boot lid was one and the Logik 7 sound system, but its to expensive to run, and its too big so we have down sized to a 2006 mercedes E320 cdi and its a much faster car and better on fuel !! but the bmw was such a nice car to own :)

  • what a noob...who wears pants anymore?

  • What's the song playing on the radio?? I love the car btw! And the song! :d

  • mine is better

  • This sounds like Ricky gervais!

  • YOU DIDNT SHOW THE FRIDGEEEEE

  • How much is it worth now?

  • i have like this))

  • whats the difference between the 730i and the 735i?

  • nice vid...

  • pw much did you pay for it?

  • 90,000 €

  • Nice. I don't have the income to afford a new one, though do have a E32 740iL in pristine condition. Also with 18x9.5" M5 rims mounted, it makes a huge improvement in cornering. ;)

  • does it give head?

  • You dont have folding mirrors

  • Sweet car! im trying to get myself a 2002 745 i next year....how is it in the maintenance?? does it get expensive?

  • @thehulk3010 Well yes it can add up, and they do sometimes have probs. Tyres are over £200 each, and stuff like oil changes and servicing adds up, but hey that is the cost of driving a great car. The effortless power of my 3.6 litre engine is amazing, press the pedal and it feels like it's going to take off - a 4.4 litre must be incredible. Get one and enjoy, and keep some money aside for bills, and don't go to BMW garages - they are 30% more expensive than other BMW specialist.

  • @Jon7Lane

True words, my brother has the 4,5l V8 motor, its amazing! Holy shit if you drive, it doesnt feel like the car is so big. And it handles really good! Love the down-shifting @Sport mode. I'm sure i will get one too, and yes, its a expensive car. 400Fr. ( swiss ) for 1 tire!

  • YOU BASTARD :)

  • im gonna buy one tomorrow

  • I drive on the same side now and it is ok as long as you in one of these cars

  • Nice video and nice car =)

    I really like the E65 7 series a lot

  • cheers nice set of wheels...

  • Nice but it's all backwards. The streeing wheel is on the wrong side.

  • @bg11215 ...better than driving on the wrong side ;-)

  • those are really nice cars but i can afford one

  • @shepboy8 you can or can't afford one? you just said that you can.

  • @bg11215 i ment i cant afford 1. my keyboard doesnt work good and i didnt type the t

  • @bg11215 i ment i cant afford one

  • Its natural, I do it myself

  • @wwenaveed Ah, that's okay then, I will cancel the appointment with the mouth doctor. Thanks. J

  • Stop clearing the saliva out of your fucking mouth when you speak.

  • @astromatrix Stop swearing when you write.

  • Just bought a 2010 760Li, the best car i could get. It has an amiazing twin turbo V12. Just amazing, you cant ask for more things than you have. I havent seen all the features yet but it has a lot. The interior is similar to this one.

  • @diego750il You are a lucky man! Enjoy it.

  • ONE DAY ! ONE DAY !

  • i dont have any of these on my e38

but maybe i buy one of these next year when they worth £2000

  • @f13platform Ha ha - Good luck with that!

  • so hows the service for the nice bimmer in the us which im from Texas to be exact....this car is called the bmw 745li or 745i i love that car because of the bangle butt design and my little brother loves the shit out this CAR!!!! ITS BADASS!!!XD

  • what's the name of that song when you turned on the radio?

  • the name of the song on radio when he say radio on plz help i want to know what is the song name and the singer

  • Sorry, I don't know. It's not what I normally listen to.

  • @Jon7Lane Is this car good? is the interior quiet when you are driving? Do you still have the car? Still good? And is it very very very luxurious as people say?

  • @wwenaveed Yes, yes, yes, yes yes. Try one and see for yourself.

  • @Jon7Lane Hello my dad just bought a 2003 bmw 730d black today, i pressed the voice recognition button and nothing happened! why is that? also whenever i go onto the sat nav, it doesnt let me, it says some error! btw i do have the discs for the sat nav

  • @wwenaveed Not sure - it should work - make sure the ignition is on. Sat Nav issues not sure either. The discs need to be in the drive and spinning. Phone a BMW garage perhaps? Good luck!

  • @Jon7Lane ok, no problem, ill also upload a video in a few days.

  • Dude, how did you afford this car? No pun intended. what do you work as?

  • @bentleyv8t Well, it's 6 years old, so it only cost me 25% of the original price. It was a lot cheaper than a brand new Ford Focus for example! I WAS an IT Manager, until I was made redundant last year!

  • the 735 is very cheap...i think 10 000-11 000 eur for a good one

  • woow say radio on and radio s on COOOOOOOOL MAAAN

  • 0:29 do you know what those 2 metal looking things are on the steering wheel are ?

  • Yes, they are to change gear when in manual mode. Either one changes down a gear. On the back of the steering wheel there are paddles to change up a gear. They are very nice to use if you want to drive a bit harder and not have to break around corners.

  • So is this car like a lot of luxury ? And what do you not like about it ?

  • Yeah, I guess so. The car is great to drive and practical too - lots of space and fast and relatively frugal with petrol. But there are a lot of electronics, and so potentially lots to go wrong, and service charges might be high - the first one is in about 2 months time!! We will see. It's a brilliant car, especially bought second hand - sooooo much cheaper than new!!

  • It just seems like the dash and stuff is so ugly ... Like it sticks out all the way a lot ...

  • I guess it's a matter of individual taste. Perhaps try sitting in one and see what you think then.

  • @NewYorkCityBoy123 there is no car as insanely amazing as the interior of the 7 series, not even benz comes close to it.

  • @Jon7Lane - well I bought a used 2006 LWB after cancelling an order for the XJ. Not a car I had EVER considered but it was cheap. It's stunning to drive and having seen your clip I now know I have a telephone keypad - how cool is that. It also has TV etc etc which is about as use to me as whatever except my 6 year old neighbour sat in the car for 30 minutes wtching Harry Potter but I had to sit with him because there were "frightening bits". I eventually turned blue and brought him in. G

  • theres a fridge? where is it??

do you still have this car? how many miles and have you had any problems?

  • The fridge is the centre glove compartment. You flick a plastic vent inside and it diverts the air conditioning into it. Yes I still have the car and no probs apart from an air bag warning light that I have just ignored - I think it's a common issue that I am happy to live with at the moment. I know the car may cost be a lot when I service it or change the tyres, but it is SOOOOO nice to drive, I absolutely love it! It is the best car I have ever driven and I hope to keep it for many years!

  • actually they have a BMW 730Li or i.....and 735Li and i.....it is only available in the UK, AUSTRALIA AND MALAYSIA.....both E66 and E65 are available...

  • You are of course quite right. There are always some people who think they know it all. Cheers.

  • ese videO es de eua o germany?

  • It's incredible how many of the features my Dads 55 reg mondeo has that this does, for example the anti glare rear view irror, 6 disk autochanger, trip computer, auto wipers, steering wheel contols. I imagine it has bluetooth too and possibly a heated windscreen but i think ford patented that. jazzy car though :D

  • HAHAH you guineapigsheep you name pretty basic stuff that every car has.

Don't compare a freaking mondeo to this 735.

A fiat 500 will have the options you name.

  • ok keep your hair on, i was simply highlighting some features that ford included on a reasonably priced car several years ago. of course the cars are not compareable to much of a degree.

  • Love the car - a friend has one the 740Ld tv in the back and everything! - you didnt show the "paparazzi mode" (what my friends call it) where all the sun blinds come up, and the auto close boot! & lol the little torch in the glovebox lol!

Nice Car will get one, one day :)!

  • im about to buy a 2004 735i black saphire optioned with off white nappa leather upgrade with sport seats.. do they all have soft close doors ?

  • No, I think it's an optional extra.

  • @napolean34 dude ther is no such thing as a 735i i hav an 04 and they only make 745i,745li more luxurious the one i hav,760i v12,760li more luxurious v12 so do ur research b4 lying bout buying a car

  • @TexasMeroUno i take it you havnt done your RESEARCH !!! i have a 735i they were available in the uk and australia...so please before you start jabbering.. i sugest you type in e65 735i in your google bar !!...and if im wrong you can have what you call my 745i..for free

cant get a better deal than that !!

  • dude your full of shit im 22 and yes do hav garage full of cars cause i own my own dealership and the 735i is an 80's model bmw you loser lol what a FAG all i can say is "GET ON MY LEVEL!"

  • napolean i owe you an apologly i had no idea you a frenchie or whatever i looked it up and your right they do make a 735i over there but not over here please understand i just hate it when people lie about getting something theres no point in it, again my deepest apologies "IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT HE GOT THIS CAR TO CLEAR THE AIR.

  • @TexasMeroUno thankyou..

  • Hey take it easy dude!

  • i already apoligized a long time ago man

  • I know 2 weeks ago, but perhaps you will consider being less aggressive to others in future. Just take it easy dude.

  • very nice....

  • THX

  • damn i live in mexico but here a 7 series, even if it is from 1999 it is very expensive, i wish i could import one from the usa but i cant because they are made in germany.

  • Still, Mexico is nice.

  • Yes, that could be my new job, excellent idea! I could do another video with my wife's car, a Toyota Corolla...now how on earth do I make that sound exciting?

  • Amazing car, I have a 1989 750il, and a 2000 740il. Next will be the one like yours :D

  • amazing car, thanks for sharing

  • im german so i dont know how much 25MPG is, can you say how much you are spending monthly for petrol and how many miles you are driving?

Very nice car, have fun with it!

  • Well basically it will do about 40 Kilometres to a Gallon of petrol which is about 5 litres, so about 8 Kilometres per litre - which here in the uk costs about £1 (around 1.15 Euro) So this equates to about 12 pence per Kilometre, or about 10 Kilometres to one Euro. I hope that's enough for you Just buy one and find out. There are more economical cars, but if you want to enjoy yourself get one!

  • yeah thats more than enough, thank you very much! Buying one? Not yet but i hope in the future :D

  • I hope you do too..take care.

  • Very nice car, i love the 7 series, but do you not regret buying the 735 with a 3.5 petrol engine? doesnt it burn fuel up, literally? it probably does have amazing acceleration, but if i was ever going to buy a petrol engine car, i would not go abot 2.0 because i just feel its suicide ;P

It would probably be more expensive, but i would go for the 730D with the 3.0 diesel engine, im sure that beast has lots of power too

    Anyway, very nice car

  • There are two different types of people in this world, those who prefer Diesel and those who prefer Petrol. It does at least 25MPG on average, and so for me it's well worth it for not sounding like a tractor! Thanks for the comments.

  • Nice car. Love the interior, you've got taste.

  • Thanks - although I didn't choose the colour scheme myself - it's a 6 year old car that I have just had for 2 months now. Cheers.

  • Mate I'm gettin one in October

I've gotta a question with the voice activation , so basicly do all the Bmw 7 series have it?

The one that I'm getting is 2004 745

and plz give me some words that I can use for the voice activation like useful stuff

    thanx

  • I think they all have it so yours should. There should be a button on the steering wheel - try pressing it. First basic command is "Radio On", second one is "Options" - this is very useful because then all of the options are told to you, and you just repeat the one you want! It works whichever menu you go to, and so it's the only command you ever really need to remember.

  • Thanks a lot, I'll try it in October when I'll get my babe

  • Wow thank you! The interior looks amazing. I'm looking to get a black on black 2002 Li. Does it cost a lot to service and repair?

  • ...I hope not! I've only had it for 6 weeks, so not had a service or any repairs yet.

  • The 7 series will always cost more to maintain than other BMW models, other than M cars.

  • my dad has a 735i from 2002

    love it soo much!

can you show all the gadgets

and some acceleration vid's in your new video's

  • very nice video i have a 745i too (im in Canada)

  • Cool - I've only had this car for about 3 weeks and I love it!
