@Billaxle No kidding. X7 was so terrible, it wasn't even worth me beating it. They made Zero weak to the point that he was just shit, I always will hate Axel, and the 3D thing was a great idea, but it was executed terribly. You would have to REALLY try to successfully make Megaman X into a 3D game. Just think of trying to make Mortal Kombat into a 3D fighter....not gonna happen.

@Billaxle you should still care for megaman legends 3. yeah, sure the x series an the classic series is waaaaay better than the legends series, but us as megaman fans in general should try to bring it back. so sad for all the people who were really looking forward to it and for the people who put time in making the game. capcom is trying to get rid of megaman off the company completely so we should not let them cancel any megaman game. i was kinda looking foward to this myself...

Although I hated how they continued the series after X5, I thought X8 was a very good game. It is an improvement over X7. This music right here is the X series MM2 Dr Wily Stage 1-2.

I felt X2, X4, X6 and X7 were nothing but filler.

X1, X3, X5 and X8 were the ones that gave more to the overall MMX storyline.

If they plan on continuing with the Maverick hunter series, X3 should be the new X2, X5 = new X3 and so on.

Of course, this is me talking about story. Gameplay is a whole different subject

Technically, X2 was to collect the pieces of Zero when he blew up first game, and Sigma's Maverick faction trying to rise up.

X4...not sure what to say on that. Did show how Sigma became a Maverick from the fight with Zero. X6 was filler for sure, because if you failed to stop the falling colony, then yeah. It's more of a 'what if' than a filler.

X7 was to add in Axel, but everything else was horribly bad...

Not really. X6 follows after the X5 ending where Enigma fails, the shuttle succeeds, and the earth isnt destroyed. (which is the true ending) but what X5 doesnt tell us, is that the destroyed colony chunks still hit. 8U

I guess I just like the soundtrack for X6 more than X5 because it was more original. For example: On one of the stages in X5, they do a remix of the song from X2's Bubble Crab stage. I just hate when they do that because personally it ruins the experiance you know? Nothing new and fresh to experiance. Anyways alright I will calm down and try *twitch* to respect his opinion. I see your point, dude. X6 also had a remix of the third stage at the end of X2, but it sounded much more different whereas Bubble Crab's theme sounded the same in both X2 and X5. As for my favorite game out of all the Mega Man games, I think I enjoyed Mega Man 3 the most.
