Most of those people shown in the video hadn't done shit..fucking sad. 1st battalion/3rd Marines 03-07...2nd battle of fallujah and Korengal Valley yuttt. True respect to the Vietnam grunts, you guys are my heroes.
Billy was there, and the Nylon Curtain is for me one of his best LP's-CD's, Ok in 1982 he was more Europeon, but he did it : Nail biting with a cup a cofee in his hand....*All for Lena* in 1980 is also such a great song, but I can count to 150 from his pure songs certainly also in the 70ies. Respect to this man, who has influenced so much people afterwards! Great 2012
Firefighting and EMS work go hand in hand . I work in EMS (paramedic) for a hospital based service and we all share a common brother and sisterhood like the fire service . We all got each other's back out on calls , share great times at the station , and lend an ear and shoulder to cry on when the going gets rough .
To all of our Vietnam Veterans . On behalf of the greatest nation on earth , we thank you for your sacrifice and service . YOU'LL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN ! Happy Veteran's Day !
I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite Billy Joel songs. It means a lot more nowadays, because of the U.S.' involvement in the war on terrorism. GO USA!
@joshuabrooks21 I definitely means as much today as ever, but I'm fairly certain that it carries a lot of meaning to the guys who fought in Vietnam, too. Afterall they are the ones it was written for
its hard to understand, if your not a firefighter. Its a brotherhood that you cant break. I never forget those times at the firehouse and out on runs. It never leaves.
God Bless our military and first responders

Great clip but lacks the punch it deserves without Liberty Devitto on the drums, they sound thin and weak.
