How interesting. I couldn't help noticing that the smaller version of the horse-in-circle design was not animated like the big one, but was nonetheless directly reminiscent of its larger sibling.
aaah...the good ol' turf hotel.... It looks so seedy but has so much history. I rarely see it anymore because I dont feel like taking my life in my hands when crossing the Patullo.
@ethicomm Are you kidding? The Patullo is no more dangerous than any other bridge. The problem is the drivers who have no spacial awareness/the drivers who try to pass B trains in the curves on the bridge...that's just idiotic. Doesn't make the bridge itself dangerous though
@slayerntbam Actually, you're right. It's the drivers that make it dangerous and not the bridge. Several years ago a speeding driver lost control of his car and flipped upside down into a water-filled ditch in South Surrey where he died. The local paper made reference to "killer road" which drove me nuts because the damned road is inanimate! I'll have to change my description for sure...

haha omg nice. I grew up in Surrey and would always go by the old Turf when crossing the Patullo, that bridge is wickedly tight!

classic sign ... but I'd hate for it to be out my bedroom window!

With the noise from the highway you wouldn't get too many good sleeps!

Don't blame you for not wanting to cross the Patullo. Could be the most dangerous bridge in the province if not the country!
