Ever heard of foot locking? Get rid of that foot hold. Buy a Petzl foot ascender if you want to use that technique

Klemheist is a cool way to advance, seems a bit slow and tedious though. It does provide a nice support for when you'd like to rest a bit. I personally like to use a blake hitch and body thrust my way up the tree.
