  • Filthy music? nah thats arowsmith. Disturbed is just awesome! :P

  • OMG disturbed i love you

  • im mildly disturbed, and i feel slightly ill like some kind of sickness....

AND IF YOU DONT GET THAT THEN YOU SPEAK A DIFFERANT LANGUAGE!

  • Hah Filthy Music, Disturbed is Beast, I normally play music with just earphones in, but yes like ppl have been saying, you cant normally hear shit over the bike itself or the wind and they do give a little protection as well.

  • thats an ITRIP right??? i got the same thing lol 88.7

  • Hi SVengalie,

Nice Vid.. Can you let us know the brand of this FM Bluetooth transmitter?

    Thanks,

  • @pcotrim i know what it is. Its a Griffin Technology "iTrip".

    hope it helped

  • GENIOUS!

  • that is sooo cool. to bad i wont be able to buy a motor cycle. WHY DID MY DAD CRASH HIS BIKE!!!?? now my mum keeps telling me not to get a bike :D

  • DISTURBED FUCKIN YEA

  • Blocking the ears from hearing emergency vehicles is a bunch of BS. We cant listen to music but in my riding class they told us we should probably wear ear plugs..... EARPLUGS!!!!!! i sleep with ear plugs in to i cant hear anything! Music is no different or not any less dangerous! Use your eyes more than your ears. Besides you cant hear shit inside your helmet past 55 mph anyway!

  • @Theonlypayne Enjoy being deaf in a few years time. Anyone with common sense would wear ear protection when riding.

    All the police riders do.

  • @svengalie yea you clearly missed my point. I understand that not wearing earplugs is bad for your ears. The point of my statement is that wearing earphones is just as dangerous as wearing earplugs when it comes to hearing emergency vehicles and horns or whatever. And yes police wear them b/c they ride everyday, i only ride maybe once a week.

  • @svengalie hey u know where i can get speker for my bmx helmet i gust need it to hear music

  • @Theonlypayne

I always use earplugs when riding. I also wear them to bed.

Try wearing them when you go to a club or somewhere where it's loud. You actually hear more than without!

    Start learning sign language.

  • disturbed!

  • Is that safe to have BOTH your ears occupied while riding? I think you should have at least 1 ear free to listen to the road. For safety concerns. (emergency vehicles, etc..)

  • @Sirradal well you should ride with ear protection, unless you want to go deaf. It's never been a problem for me - except it makes me ride more aggressively when i listen to tunes.

  • @svengalie I understand what you mean by the music making you ride more aggresively. I can relate. The same thing happens when I drive too.

  • @svengalie that would be because you have good taste in music :P i noticed i ride more aggressively too when listening to disturbed also. is the part in the helmet like in-ear headphones or like wearing 2 speakers next to your ears?

  • @svengalie oh man.. started riding for six months.. yeah going above 50mph gets freaking noisy..

  • dude, thats soo SICKKKK

  • i really thought that these wer illegal in the UK?

  • @madeinbritain09

Wouldnt of thought so, as cars can have music as loud as they want. Also there is deaf riders.

If i use my ipod, i always make sure i can here traffic too... cos im a fussy sod!

  • Does it have a 3.5mm jack to plug a audio lead into?

  • I was gonna rate.... but then I got high

  • lol

  • 10,000 views exactly...randome, annyways I love the gadget mate, now all I need is a motorcycle, or a full helmit for when I drive.....yea would get wonderfull looks

  • Yes my wife and use it is a very good system we love it. however, the newone comes with a FM radio built inn. you don't need another FM source.

  • disturbed amazing music :)

  • Sven,

Does the Cardo Work with your iPhone? (I think I've seen you with an iPhone before).

  • The iphone works with any bluetooth headset.

  • GET DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS!!!!

  • DISTURBED get in there mate (Y) it aint filthy music

  • No, it is. Music at its most filthiest.

(note this is a good thing)

  • YEAAAH! DISTURBED!

  • nice, disturbed (Y)

  • mmm, disturbed, good choice! lol

  • oh p.s. this would be perfect with a helmet skirt

  • if ur on a budget use them plug in ear phones, i use em for long motorway journeys and no complains here. tho this seems a bit nicer as plug ins can be a bit uncomfortable after a few hours, but nothing to wite home about

  • a wifi jammer will totally mess this thing up. all you would hear is the wind.

  • So.....don't carry a wifi jammer with you on the bike?

    What a weird comment...

  • Iv heard about theese, but the Itrip (Ipod to FM) is a great idea, im definatly gonna get one when i get my CBR

  • i love ure filthy music:X:X:X:X:Xthat sound like disturbed:D

  • I too have a Caberg lid (Justissimo), I was wondering are they easy to fit?

  • ok i have ti know is it legal to have cuz i hear it is and its not ?

  • is it not bad for the ears i normally wear earplugs when i`m riding (the bike) (the motorbike) because of wind noise Great videos one and all

    notwocdivad

  • filthy music lol

  • What kind of helmet do you have?

  • caberg v2r zonda silver

    google it, its nice.

  • I remember now :-) Cheers uncle Svenny!

  • does the music play through both headphones?

even when using the bluetooth feature?

    thanks!

  • A phonecall shuts it off. Then starts it again on completion of the call.

  • Tune! love 'down with sickness'

  • Are these any good sven? i use ipod headphones lawl

  • I use them most days (used them this morning)

  • thats bad ass!

  • disturbed!

  • good idea! can i have your old one?

  • The FM transmitter with the ipod works very well. I am a bicycle messenger who uses a ham radio to receive the music, works well.

  • haha you listen to disturbed?

  • I use one of those bluetooth headsets, but alittle tip for everyone who hasn't got the FM radio version. Find a phone with bluetooth and the ability to transmite songs through bluetooth to another device. Aka link the phone and headset and play your music :D Same way I record my audio for my videos :P

  • It will not be in stereo. Let me ask... what are you using to record audio? I'm using a Parrot SK4000 stereo Bluetooth helmet kit with FM radio and an iPhone 3G.

  • disturbed! =D

  • Great taste in music!

Sorry for my newbish question: Are there any helmets with speakers already in it, if so, which models?

Thanks for sharing, 5 stars of course!!

  • Not that I know of. There are some £10 speakers with a standard 3.5mm jack that you can plug into an ipod. But the quality is beyond poor - and far too quiet.

  • So which speakers do you have (or you recommend), and are they easy to install?

  • The ones in the video of course!

  • ooohhhh, i thought it is just a wireless device for your ipod and a radio... i guess i have to google a bit, thanks sven!

  • Sure there are. Check out the Element Fastrack helmet.

  • Oh! I forgot to mention that some helmets have pockets for in-helmet speakers. My GMAX GM58S does. Kinda useless though... even sticking my amplified Parrot SK4000 speakers on TOP of the pockets and stuffing them to get them closer to my ears, I still have trouble hearing them thanks to the roaring wind noise (I have a helmet skirt too).

  • Wooo Disturbed!

  • Kewl

  • DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS!! You are a lot cooler than i originally thought =]

    £100... not bad i suppose :P

  • Anything with instruments. Although I tend to lean far towards proper filth :)

  • Was he listening to Disturbed?

  • He was.

  • So all the good people of the land agreed, whatever our names were, we're all ready for a big surprise ;-)

  • I'll just stick to earphones for 1/10th of the cost lol. Good vlog though!

  • Two ipods lost and 1 broken due to rain (oh, and my iphone broke in taiwan in the crash....so 4!)

    I figure THIS is cheaper.

  • I'm talking about the devices you use to listen to your personal player. I just use a pair of cheap earphones and I can connect them to my phone or my iPod. The earphones to connect to my phone or iPod cost about £10, you paid £140 for the FM transmitter for your iPod and the helmet headset. I could break 13 earphones and replace them and it would still be cheaper than buying an FM transmitter and wireless headset.

    Anyway...

You had a crash in Taiwan?

  • You mean buds. Proper earphones will not fit in a helmet. Many people, myself included, can't wear typical earbuds... they simply do not fit. In-ear earbuds cost more and are often illegal while driving plus you are still getting tangled up in wires. The helmet can easily pull them out of your ears too!

  • nice ;-)
