Hi, Ya.. last time i used collar to bring him out but after doing some research from the books and internet, i have stopped using it and use harness instead. Using harness is easier and more comfortable for him. thanks for viewing!

Bethany i totally agree, ive got two westies, although i dont keep them in a cage. My mother keeps her westie in a cage, and she loves it, its her little domain. Shishi, that was an adorable video, one of my westies was on my knee watching it, and it brought a tear to my eye. Ignore the imbeciles that aint got a clue. Lim looks spoilt rotten, i love him xxx

I used to keep my westie in a playpen when he was a puppy for potty training and now my westie is able to pee at the designated location that we want him to.

He just turned 3 years old and is the king of my house! All the westies look the same.. and i so much in love with westies.. =))

If the moron below would have read up on westies and dogs in general, then the idiotic cretin would of realised that dogs see their cages as a place of haven, that they feel safe and secure in.

I have a cage in the corner of my kitchen, but I always leave the door open incase Poppy (my westie) wants to go out and play, but she aways stays in because she loves her cage so much and feels so safe. (:. Also, wtf is she on about, your dog looks really clean compared to some of the westies I've seen!

in 1992 we lost our 17 yr old daughter in 1993 my wife went and got a little snowball with a black nose and black eyes we called snoop i don;t know if dogs mend broken hearts but this little westie might have he was my friend no matter what mood i was in in 2005 he developed cancer we saved him finally in late 2006 we had to put him down as he was lying on the table i looked him in the eyeskissed him on his nose and told him thanks

I own a Westie and you can keep their fur clean by regular brushing. If your Westie has been outside digging, etc. and gotten himself dirty, brush him immediately. As you brush your Westie, you will see the fur get brighter right before your eyes.

We have a 12 year old Westie - Piper Danny Duncan. He acts like he's 7 and he is more than special. Of all the breed owners we've met and spoken with, only those who've had a Westie in their family find it difficult to get another after losing one. The pain is so acute. TOTAL AGREEMENT!!! This one brings tears to my eyes too, remembering mine, one I lost over 20 yrs ago, still miss him and cry over him like it was yesterday. My second lived with me 16 yrs. Life is not the same without a Westie, I miss them so much. I have other dogs I love, but just not the same once you've had a Westie in your life.
