  • Maybe row the windows up so we can hear the 7 liter roar

  • Running Hoosier R6, probably 295/30-18 and 335/30-18. BTW the C3 was a very well prepared car but technology marches on.

  • is this in the chicago area? i'm new to this but i should be getting a vette in the spring ( the wife finally said yes) i want to start doing track day events but i'm not sure where to get started. if any one could help i'd appreciate it.

  • @THEARMEDLIFE Road America is in Elkhart Lake, WI which is about 60mi north of Milwaukee. It's a little bit of a drive from Chicago, but it's certainly doable.

  • @ktkof04 And very worth it

  • Were you the only ZO6 out there during that run? It looked like the little C3 did'nt want you to pass him, yea like he a choice in the matter. lol

  • Did you hear the way that think sounded? He could of taken the Z06 if it was an actually race. HPDE aren't for racing, they are for enjoying the ride and exploiting the capabilities of high performance cars.

  • @Boyracer5500

I will throw this one out there, that C3 sounds bad ill grant you that, but i am gonna say its not gonna out run a C6 Z06 round the track... Z06 will out break, and out handle it, maybe not out excelerate it but it doesnt always matter... those old vettes took a lot to make them handle.

  • @BIGGREENLEAF1 That C3 was probably 600+ hp, but the driver mod in the c6 Zo6 encouraged the older vette to pull over. Nice driving Kent. Great line. And not afraid to push that front end a little. What tires you running? I use Nitto NT05 out there.

  • The wave is a thank you for a let by only. One thing to always remember when driving on the track is that there will always be someone else faster, so don't let your ego get in the way of being smart.

  • @kentz06

What kind of tires were you running in this event?

  • I love the passed wave. Polite, professional, yet letting them know they've been served.

  • Good driving mate. Over-taking everyone on the track, very impressive.
