@1332255 I can think of two ways: 1) maybe when she was very careful (slow) when she was going up, like, she took 10 seconds to go up one step...so there's more acceleration when she's going down, resulting in more force which cause the stair to break; 2) she might be wearing normal slippers when she was going up, which distributed her weight over a bigger area; on the contrary, heels will concentrate more of her weigh over a much smaller area.
