  • kann man bei niederkomplexen Modellen auch auf spezielle Clay Werkzeuge verzichten ?

  • im making car too with clay. im almost done.my design totally different design i didnt copy its my own design. i named scorpion or maybe Dragster but its kinda look like scorpion.

  • maybe a better quality camera next time :)

  • I worked on around 7 different cars, all from 3/8 scale to full size: interior, exterior, steering wheels and mirrors. Remember it like yesterday...

Now I get to watch someone else do it here...good lesson.

  • @WJHHunterston Wow, it must be an awesome job! I find this mind-blowing. I'm 16 and i've been wanting to do this type of work since i first started sketching when i was 6. Where did you go to study? Any advice?

  • General motors does this to

  • Brilliant! My only observation is that you should explain the proper use of the guide tape.

  • großes Lob! - so sieht perfektes product placement aus. Interessant, informativ und man weiß auch gleich wo man sich eindecken kann - danke und bitte mehr davon :)

  • ahaha cool, "and then we should be fine, and laughing." Brilliant!

  • you rip out a hole and then you cap it off wich jsut holds air in as well

  • what is the name of the clay you, what brand is it?

  • idont know the name of clay, the brand is kolb

  • In this video we´re using Kolb SuperClay. Kolb is one of only a few producers of styling clay worldwide, produces in Germany for customers all over the world and has a subsidiary in Michigan/USA. SuperClay is a traditional styling clay which means it contains sulfur. Our other clay is called TecClay: it is sulfur-free and light-weight. For more info visit our website.

  • how much clay is used on a entire full scale clay model of the average car and how much would that cost? Very informative video :)

  • 300-500 pounds of clay at least but this could be reduced depending on your methods, they are using a the best clay which can cost (not bulk price) about 8 dollers a pound.

They use a non sulphar based oil clay like chavant, dn't consider wet clay, unless you know what your doing.

  • nice man, dats probily my future job right there

  • What part of the car did u work on ?

  • yo dude i wana download this video. so how do i do it???

  • If you have Mozilla Firefox, you can download an extension that will allow you to download this video. The file will be .flv extension

  • Very nice work there! I see the "Teutonic" influence in the design as well ... thanks for the great demonstration!
