this is among my favorite poems...my grandfather used to recite this to me ..he also used to recite "For want of a Nail"...I really like T.S. Elliots "Hollow Men"...it seems so appropriate for these times.
That's a good one all right. It's easy to forget who we are due to circumstances and what not so I will think of these words the next time I encounter a bump in the road. Peace ~

Yes-also a favourite of mine. My late father bought me a poster with the poem when I was about 12 and like you I memorised it.
