What's the issue with Bose-Einstein condensate and plasma being called "additional forms of matter"? They're both, in essence, forms of gas.
I don't know. I'm not a scientist. I've seen a diagram in which each one of the classical states can change directly into another. However, plasma cannot. It would have to become a gas, again, then change directly. This doesn't make sense to me. How is plasma then considered a state of matter all to itself? Or Bose-Einstein condensate?
