Dam i love the weisswurst. We have a small german butcher shop in Harndorf (Adelaide, Australia) that makes an awesome weisswurst. I even go out of my way to find the right beer and pretzel to go with it. MY MOUTH IS WATERING!!

Für die Preiß´n in Hochdeutsch: 1. Weißwürste werden mit Haut gegessen oder höchstens gezutzelt. Senf für Weißwurst nur von Händlmaier oder, besser, Baumann! 3. Glas vom Lauterbacher, und dann Franziskaner? Brrrrr....

4. Weißwürste werden nicht gekocht, nur erwärmt. Beim Kochen platzt die Haut.

Wenn mal mehrere Würst im Kessel gekocht werden: entweder viel Salz dazu oder eine "Opferweißwurst". Dann nimmt das Wasser keinen Geschmack aus der Wurst. Und Zitronensaft gegen Nachdunkeln.

when i was in munchen i had breakfast at schneider brauhaus every morning a nice cold schneider weiss, weiss wurst , the sweet senf, and of course bretzel....nothing like it in the world..of course i didnt stop drinkin till later that night and no hangover...you have to love the german purity law

I really liked the movie. But, you don't need to eat the wurst to drink beer in the morning. I drink it everyday at 8 am and just stop at 19pm.

I remember eating a traditional white sausage meal in Ludwigshaven, Germany back in 1989. Old West Germans also ate the meal in the same tradition. It was served at 10:30 a.m. because the sausage was not to hear the noon church bells!! LOL
