F=uFg It is 225 lbs that the is moving but she is not pulling using 225 of force. It all depends on the kinetic friction between the plates and the turf.
I agree with the guy that pointed out that is not 225 lbs. I think it's possible the video poster might be a retard that thinks it's 225 and isn't deliberately lying.
She's not rowing 225 lbs, she's rowing the horizontal friction force caused by the 225 lbs. Normal force x kinetic friction. Has no one taken basic physics here?
Do you guys honestly think I would say it was 225 if it wasn't? I mean, come on guys, use your heads. You know who I am and what I represent.
Pause the video right at the end and count the four plates on top of a 45lb and do the math. The reason it's moving so fast is because it's on turf. If 225 was on concrete it would be moving much slower. On grass it would be molasses. It just depends on the surface. Nevertheless, she's a strong girl. Check out the video of her doing 17 chins.
@JasonFerruggia I call bs as well. I see two 45 pound plates. Sure she is strong but a guy would have trouble with this. If were so honest you would have shown a close up of the weight at the end not a blur.
@JasonFerruggia I think people are confusing the concept with the WEIGHT being 225lb and thinking that she was PULLING a force of 225lbs!
That was probably a reasonably slippery floor. To slide a weight of 225 lbs, it probably took only a small fraction of that to make it move. The trick comes in trying to get it to move faster and faster.
Clearly, though, she's pulling nowhere near 225 lbs. Her body would be at a much, MUCH greater angle, even if her arms were capable of pulling it.
Not sure if it really weighed 225#, but it looks like a tough workout never-the-less. This girl looks like someone who'd do okay as backup if things on the street got a little crazy!!
how much does that sled weigh b/c 4 plates would be 180 and ill give u 4 plates but it doesn't look it. and im not talking about b/c shes making it look ez grazt regardless.
Do you use this movement for development of strength or is this a conditioning exercise? Also, do you see any issues with a shortened ROM compared to something like a 1 arm row?
Fully rated!!! dont listen to these haters

Nice eccentricless workout =) Interesting with the hip movements as arms switch, didn't expect them.

good lord. The way she handles that weight, it doesn't look like 225. That's outstanding, especially for someone like her (bodyweight wise).

Is there a "correct" position you should get yourself into for rope pulling?
Norrin82 1 year ago
@Norrin82 There's probably a generally less strenuous one though that could vary on mechanics and strength differences probably.
