Looks like a great exercise my friend.....Do you have any more that you could eventually add on....Would really like to build up on my skills.....thanks for sharing.
Also, its helpful if you hold all your fingers down on the fretboard in position until you have to lift them to play a note behind the finger or move to a different string to catch a note.
I think you could benefit from some pick direction theory. Having two strokes in the same direction will seriously put a limit on the speed and accuracy which you can play.
I know pick direction theory very well thank you. And that was following it. Using down up on 16th notes is correct. Have you ever watched Bill Monroe or Ron McCoury play?
Grewyjo, Thanks for the comment. I have a book called the pentatonic mandolin, but even it doesn't give you all the scales. I've had to sit down and tab them out myself.
