I killed every flying stingray with normal arrows, then the storm king with holy arrows. Only AFTER the fight (with my character all fucked up) that I found the sword. lolololol

The demonbrant and soulbrant are like ying and yang.

Beat the game once to get soulbrant, the damage dealing one, and when you get to that one blacksmith combine them to make northern regalia. I have 2 of those =3

this is such a cool battle. you are running along a rocky cliff, the sky is pale grey, there are flying mantaray things shooting spikes at you. the music is slightly erie and mystical. then you find a magic sword that shoots high velocity wind demolishing anything in its path. cant wait to see what dark souls has in store.

Yknow, this boss is the hardest of the Arch Demons, but when you think about it the Arch Demons are all pretty lax in comparison to the second sub bosses. Which is weird because the Arch Demons are the only ones with checkpoints right next to them, and when you hear a title like "Arch Demon" you think shits gonna go down, like Sephiroth or something.

@nad330022 You have to go back to the start of the level when you die in Demon's Souls. Some levels have shortcuts, some don't but when you die you go back to the start of the level.

@xRevery Im just coming up on my third playthrough of demons souls so i know how it works :L, what i said was there is a clear start point to each of the levels as they are all branching off the central nexus, unlike in dark souls where each level starts after the last one, therefore you will need checkpoints to separate them

Look at the ps3 exclusives, theres no xbox exclusives that compare to them (technically and graphically) Plus the studio already has more experience on developing for the ps3, and (now im not 100% sure on this but) i think its being developed by from software in japan and is a ps3 exclusive there, its being ported to 360 and adapted for English speaking countries by Atlas meaning the ps3 version will be the original and best!

the Stormruler is very fragile (you cant use it in normal situations, damage is not good either, no bonuses...

The only real benefit of this sword is in PvP battles, as your secondary weapon because with one blow it throws your opponent to the ground, u can heal, equip magic in the meantime...

you could as well a bow (LAva Bow ) - one shot one kill.

you also dont scare the lizards with running around (they usually contain Pure stones in them the most valuable items in the game...)

@morwien no, the Morion Blade is the sword I got using the Storm King's soul. I just got ripped off after this fight that I have a completely useless sword and I lost my best weapon because of it, apparently i missed valuable information that this sword fucking sucks

@Potter135790 Morion Blade drastically increases damage when you go below 30% health. It's a great sword for soul farming (provided you have it in the offhand and use something like a Blessed Claymore or Dragon Bone Smasher 2h).

Soul Ray absolutely DOMINATES this guy, unboosted Soul Rays kill him in 4 hits for me, my Magic stat was around 35, and in NG+ with boosts (Old Monks head collar, Ring of MagSharp and Kris Blade, Mag at 40) it took me 3 hits.

One of my favourite bosses, but also one of the easiest.

there is a better way to kill this boss. Bring a bow. After the cut scene, head to the left and snipe the stuppid flying fish while hiding behind the rocks from all his attacks. No one should ever take any damage from this boss.

@xandro3 It's the Brushwood shield , you get a full set of Brushwood armour if you kill Bior of the Twin Fangs , or if you go through the gate on the left at the beginning of 1-1 , in the pit just past Miralda there is the other Twin Fang ( dead ) , also with a full suit of armour .

First youll be needing the Storm Ruler Sword once you get it run all the way back up to the place where you first came in and then try to take out each of the sting rays one by one, and after killing most of them the Storm King will appear just lock onto him and use your sword and make sure to avoid his dagger attacks by hiding behind some rocks or rolling around.
