i fucking love my fit. spend 4 grand on a turbo, exaust, test pipe and intake and beat lower end beamers for 1/3 the price. off the line fits are decent exel. but there 4th and 5th gear is weak.

Yaris is like riding in a shopping cart that hesitates when you push it. Fit drives like a big go cart. Regardless of a price difference I would take a base Fit over a loaded yaris any day. Which is what I did. The Fit is Go.

The Yaris was prolly an automatic. Anyway, my dad has a 08 Honda Fit Sport, automatic, and I have a 2009 Yaris sedan, stickshift. They're both very fun to drive, despite the Fit's being an auto, but anyway, both are great cars for the money.

FYI yaris is 106hp and fit is 117hp big deal there both slow car and yaris is 5k less than a fit ... there both fun to drive but nothing more!!0-100kph for a yaris is 9,9 sec and a fit 10,3 sec both tested on test track!!

You need a Yaris T sport to face a regualr fit sport with I'm guessing an intake and an exhaust.. ok.. go Toyota with its 1.8L T Sport Yaris. (not sure about that number btw)

Honda's 1.5L only.. but i bet it would still leave the Yaris. I would know. I owned the yaris first, totaled it, then bought a fit.

tell u the truth creappyMCcrapperson the yaris does not put out he same power, Yaris S puts out 89WHP and the Stock Fit S *manual* puts out 96whp at 91wtq, and even with a beter driver the yaris will not take the win, because the lack of power and a long 3rd gear the yaris will eventualy get passed up.

Funny how they call people with fits broke ass. I make $100K a year and I own a fit. They are incredible cars and never regretted buying one. Yaris is a good car for what it is (comparing in class here) but it looks too much like a water drop shape.

I'm calling BS on that. Every car needs parts replaced at that kind of mileage. Are you saying that it still has the original air and oil filter? How about the fuel filter? I'd like to see what the spark plugs and wires look like. How about the injectors? O2 sensors?
