  • Great combination of this rendition and the introductory clip. Very well done!

  • again Love! I love how you begin with parts from the movie Luther! Soo good! really ties the song together!

  • God is good

  • Praise to Lord!!!

This vid made me to remember that I am forgiven.

    Thank you Jesus!!!

  • @Lucy4L0ve - The name of the movie is Luther. It stars Joseph Feinnes. It is a very good movie that definitely shows you the grace of a God who loves us. I haven't seen it in any stores, but I'm sure it would be on eBay. :) Hebrews 9:28

  • You worship a god that is pleased by a human sacrifice. Think about that. Human blood sacrifice pleased your god. Doesn't that sound rather primitive to you?

Tell me how killing someone, anyone anywhere can be of benefit to someone anywhere. To believe that the death of one is the life an another is pure superstition and an affront to anyone possessing reason.

  • @SamWiseGingy

anyone possessing reason knows the futility of the creature questioning the Creator. where were you when He laid the foundation of the earth? that blood came from the veins of God Himself veiled in human flesh & it was provided to me a way of escaping the due condemnation i deserve. what kind of fool would I be to decline it because it doesn't stand up to my puny reasoning? I would know a better way to redeem this fallen race than He?

  • @SamWiseGingy

I'm surprised no one answered your comment. God wasn't "pleased" by the sacrifice of Christ. In fact he was so upset, he caused an earthquake, made the land dark for 3 hours & could not bear to look on His son who was dying. He knew what would happen, but knew it was the only way to save us who He also loved. He gave Christ a choice. Christ said, "I have the power to lay down my life, and I have the power to take it up again." We couldn't save ourselves, Christ chose to save us.

  • @ruth4275

    Issiah 53:

10 Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes[c] his life an offering for sin,

he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.

    11 After he has suffered, he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];

by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.

If you believe this is about J then your god was pleased.

  • @SamWiseGingy That doesn't mean he was pleased. That means He knew there was no other good enough to pay the price of sin. A general sending soldiers in to fight a battle which he knows is difficult & dangerous & may result in their death will still give the order if it is necessary because if he doesn't the results are worse. If he doesn't the frontier might fall or the country & that is the soldiers job. Jesus was the Father's front line soldier who won the battle against sin. It is finished.

  • @ruth4275 Now really doesn't this sound like a bunch of superstitious none sense to you? Blood sacrifices, atonement, incarnation, vicarious guilt and vicarious healing. Really doesn't this just sound crazy?

But of course if you had some credible evidence that your revelation was actually true, which you don't, then your story might actually be credible.

In the mean time it's a myth that you like for one reason or another.

Science and reason do more for humanity than myth.

  • @SamWiseGingy

Many people tell us christians that. many people say its a lie because they have never felt the touch of God in their lives, never heard Him speak through His word. I have heard Him speak through His word. It's much simpler for us. Either all of us christians have mass schizophrenia in which we all mysteriously hear the one God talking to us or he is real. The fool says in his heart there is no God. Jesus says, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE." He calls U to follow. Will U?

  • @ruth4275 See you have no reason. If indeed your god is speaking to you as you say then Christians ought to have a tendency toward unity as apposed to division and division ought to heal over time. That is not the case with Christianity.

  • @SamWiseGingy

We R unified if we are Christ's my friend. Even in a family, do U have no disagreements? Yet the family loves each other. We fight like cats and dogs in my family, but when anyone is in trouble, suddenly there are 50 relatives close by to help. We have a reason to follow HIm. It's because He died for us. He died for U 2. He wants U with Him in heaven. He says, "Behold I stand at the door (of your life) & knock, if any person opens the door I will come in." Invite Him in Sam.

  • @ruth4275 Just who do you think you're fooling? Anyone who knows the history of the Church would know just what a crock that your statement is.

Anyone Christian is at this moment divorced doctrinally from at least two thirds of other Christians.

Someone "dying for me" means nothing. Only the superstitious would believe someone could die for someone else.

  • @SamWiseGingy

There is no argument that will outsmart you and convince you into recognizing the truth of the gospel.

God is not reached through the loftiness of intellect and reason but the through the desperate cry of a wretched soul for forgiveness and grace.

  • @SamWiseGingy Yes we believe foolishness. The foolishness of God is wiser than man. It says in the bible that "we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews & Greeks, Christ the power of God & the wisdom of God." As to the other, I am Baptist, some of my best friends are Catholic, but we are friends & followers of the way. Sam stop looking for excuses & listen. He calls U to follow Him. Will U follow?

  • @ruth4275 Why would anyone in their right mind intentionally believe "foolishness." The world is difficult enough to understand without deliberately embracing ideas that don't appeal to reason or truth. No wonder religion ( and I include your "faith" as religion) has done so much to screw up our world.

  • @SamWiseGingy Why do I believe such foolishness. Because God is real. Where were you when I had to run for my life from domestic violence and had nowhere for myself and my four tiny children to stay. It was God who hid me. Where were you when I needed money or shoes for my kids in the exact sizes or money and there was no one to tell because I had nobody. Yes it was God who put their shoes on my front stairs. paid my bills through complete strangers when I did not ask for anything from them.

  • @SamWiseGingy Religion hasn't screwed up our world. Corruption has. It is corruption (sin) that is screwing up places like Cambodia, sin that causes every hurt in the world. Sam you waste your breath. We know God is real because he is with us in every circumstance & he does incredible things above anything you can imagine. Why can't you find him? "Without faith it is impossible to please God" Why should the creator of the universe bother with any of us. Because He loves us but He expects faith.

  • Where does it say in the Holy Bible that the Holy Bible is the ONLY and MAIN authority? What did the Church do for the 400 years before the canon of the Bible was determined? How much of the NT tells us that Sacred Tradition is to be followed alongside Sacred Scripture? Didn't Christ tell us that the Church would last until the end of time?

Pray about it. God will show you the Church HE established to guard, guarantee, and interpret Scripture.

  • @KeysisCatholic the church He established doesn't go by a human name, structure or organization. it's the biblical priesthood of all believers, the Church universal. the great high Priest came & it was finished; the human priesthood is a relic of the old covenant that is no longer needed (nor is Mary) as He is the mediator between God & man. of those upholding "sacred tradition", the pharisees, Jesus said "Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men"

  • I must know where I can get this song, I simply must!!

  • What's the name of this movie? it have to be interesting...!

  • is this Adrienne liesching

  • Who sings this version? I want it, I want it now!

  • @samtorrance5590 it sounds like Adrienne liesching but I could be wrong

  • Praise God for the reformation. Let the truth of Christ be known. Works of the law accomplish nothing.

  • One WITH Himself I cannot die...

  • Who sang this exact version for this video?

  • A beautiful old hymn. I remember singing it long ago when I was first saved. It is not sung anymore.

  • This is the best version of the song. Does anyone know what is the group singing it?

  • @sorrypapawxz It was your fathers who welcomed his blood readily on their own hands. However, Christ does love you tremendously and has great plans for you and your people! He truely is your Messiah!

  • @sorrypapawxz , jesus does not hate anybody. in fact, as he died he said "father forgive them for they know not what they do!" he loves us all, no matter what we have done wrong!

  • This is one of my favourite songs. It always makes me cry. I love the insertions of the Martin Luther film in between. I would love to see that film in full.
