This is one of Jeff Tweedy's best songs. People should really try to understand the message he's trying to portray. I think the first first signifies a sort of irrational behavior set forth by an unstable relationship or a falling out. I don't think they should be regarded as morbid, because Jeff Tweedy is a rather delicate, beautiful writer.
