This story is BS. I have been an officer in a club, been to numerous parties and gatherings, and hung out in more bars with 1%ers than i can count. It would have NEVER gone down like that. Calling them gangs doesnt credit your story either. They would have told you quick that it wasnt kosker.
Wild Hogs started out with a real people story and had the chance to have made a classic for all times movie about normal people riding their bikes and enjoying a cross country ride. Then they twisted it into a cheesy crappy story that totally lost my interest. Too bad, they had the chance.
What your old school biker and your calling MC's gangs and gang members. You want respect but don't give it ? Lots of MC members live and breathe motorcycles. They build them and pride themselves on the fact that they work on their own bikes and customize them extremely well. You handled yourself well in that situation. You should have went to the party and quit worry about what everyone says about others. Check it out for yourself.
I spent a few years when I was little with the Outlaws MC, it was a fun time, sometimes scary for a little kid. Regardless of what goes on, you can bet, they just wanna have a good time. No harm intented.....
I have a couple freinds who are in a suport club and I ride with them on a couple runs with a few 1%ers and they ride the ton or faster it is a white knuckle ride but fun as Hell. And yeah they party like mad was a good time but you never get to drunk as to lose control or you will get educated by the support club and the 1%ers. As long as you are respectfull they will be cool with you, respect gets respect they don't want their club in the news in a bad light just be cool and they will be to..
I noticed you refer to clubs as "gangs" quite a bit. I am not in a club, but as I understand it, and especially with some of the 1%ers, calling them a gang, or gang member, is considered to be inflamitory. I can't say that I have had issues with any club members, but this is some info I got from an old guy who used to hang around with some Pegans years ago.

Whats your top cycle movie? Its hard to top EZ Rider...or Electra Glide in Blue... Although John Doe and The Roadside Prophets is a more modern one...

Easyriders was a big influence. Love the whole freedom thing! Fonda and Hopper were naturals for the parts.
