If they visit the veggie farms they will go back home with hardly any pics of animals.
If you choose not to eat meat, I think that's fine with everyone. Where we meat eaters become upset is when we are called murderers for our food choices. Is a cheetah a murderer for eating antelope? Also, eating meat is a moral decision, not a health related one. Yes it is high in fat, but we simply must eat in moderation. Also, meat hormone levels are so incredibly low compared to some vegetables (especially soy) that that argument is pointless. Let individuals decide.

We all have our own choices when it comes to food. Steak is high in Iron and Vitamin B. There's some meats that gives a good source of protein 2.
Maybe she is, but so what? Have you ever seen an ad in a magazine? Models show off their bodies ALL the time, so why don't you complain about that? Steak might be high in Iron and Vitamin B, but it's also VERY high in antibiotics (which aren't good for you), hormones, cholesterol, unhealthy fat, etc. Meat also has no fiber. Once you write down the pros and cons and compare, you'll see that a well-balanced vegetarian/vegan diet is healthier than a omnivorous diet.
For those who say meat tastes good, I dare you to try and eat as much types of meat as you can without any sauce or spice or anything else.
I have a health problem so I can only eat food that's natural, without adding any fat or anything else otherwise I won't digest it. And trust me, all the meat I can eat now is biologically raised chicken, but the taste cannot compare to a nice bowl of fresh fruit :D

I don't hang around a large vegan crowd so to speak, but i do know a small handfull of individuals ( about a dozen or so). Everyone of them fits the pale/weak scenario. Perhaps there are those who do not fit that, but I have not met them. I just hear about them.

It's important to read about the proper vegan diet, especially if someone was a long time meat eater like me, it needs to be done intelligently, but when done correctly the benefits are beyond words amazing. So if you consider it, please read up on it and use the newer recipe books. Attend vegan events so you don't feel alone if your firends are not part of this. Sanctuaries hold many of them.

I don't eat meat (with the exception of fish I catch myself while camping) because of how i feel towards animals, I also take the further step and buy organic from local farms who do things the "old fashion way" I know where my food is grown, i know the people that grow it and If I cant pronounce it I dont stick it in my mouth. If people would follow that simple rule we'd all be healthier. I'm also pagan and share a reverence with indians
that you should honor the animal if it dies for you. Flame me all you want but If I kill a fish I at least say thank you for the food it has brought. Here is something that makes me sick about vegans.
If they're for the ethical treatment of animals, then why do they eat plants harvested by threshers that kill animals every day? Why do they refuse honey from "tortured" bees yet drive cars that kill bugs by the thousands?
Here's something PETA can lobby for. Have them lobby to reduce the amount of harvesters used in fields. Then have it replaced by people willing to do manual labor. More jobs, less deaths. Problem solved.

A vegan life isn't trying to be hypocritical. What happens to animals during harvesting is unrelated to a person's choice to refrain from eating meat and dairy.
It's an indirect effect of harvesting. That's why I think more vegans and vegetarians (like myself) should grow their own gardens.
Vegans, try to make as little of an impact in their life with what they eat and wear and simply live.

Maybe she is, but so what? Have you ever seen an ad in a magazine? Models show off their bodies ALL the time, so why don't you complain about that? Steak might be high in Iron and Vitamin B, but it's also VERY high in antibiotics (which aren't good for you), hormones, cholesterol, unhealthy fat, etc. Meat also has no fiber. Once you write down the pros and cons and compare, you'll see that a well-balanced vegetarian/vegan diet is healthier than a omnivorous diet.

For those who say meat tastes good, I dare you to try and eat as much types of meat as you can without any sauce or spice or anything else.
I have a health problem so I can only eat food that's natural, without adding any fat or anything else otherwise I won't digest it. And trust me, all the meat I can eat now is biologically raised chicken, but the taste cannot compare to a nice bowl of fresh fruit :D

I don't hang around a large vegan crowd so to speak, but i do know a small handfull of individuals ( about a dozen or so). Everyone of them fits the pale/weak scenario. Perhaps there are those who do not fit that, but I have not met them. I just hear about them.

It's important to read about the proper vegan diet, especially if someone was a long time meat eater like me, it needs to be done intelligently, but when done correctly the benefits are beyond words amazing. So if you consider it, please read up on it and use the newer recipe books. Attend vegan events so you don't feel alone if your firends are not part of this. Sanctuaries hold many of them.

One time two men were bringing a piano to our house and couldn't get it up the stairs. I helped and they walked like on water. Peta does gimmicks to get free promotional attention since they need free media since donations are limited unlike those profiting from killing. Hunters and gun owners are required BY LAW to give to animal and habitat conservation every time they buy a gun, ammo, or gun accessories, yet PETA is never required to give ANYTHING to maintain their tax exempt status.

I think Peta is fanatical. I don't eat meat (with the exception of fish I catch myself while camping) because of how i feel towards animals, I also take the further step and buy organic from local farms who do things the "old fashion way" I know where my food is grown, i know the people that grow it and If I cant pronounce it I dont stick it in my mouth. that you should honor the animal if it dies for you. Flame me all you want but If I kill a fish I at least say thank you for the food it has brought. I also grow a lot of my own veggies, drive a small car, bike and walk to work in the warm months, recycle, use fabric bags, cut down on water, use eco bulbs and everything else, maybe im the exception. A vegan life isn't trying to be hypocritical. What happens to animals during harvesting is unrelated to a person's choice to refrain from eating meat and dairy.
It's an indirect effect of harvesting. That's why I think more vegans and vegetarians (like myself) should grow their own gardens.
Vegans, try to make as little of an impact in their life with what they eat and wear and simply live.
Almost every process product in life can indirectly kill animals.
