    thanks in advance

  • omg description is sooo completely astonishing :] i luv scary stories the best

  • Thanks, animebabe--I'm glad you liked it.:) Be sure to listen to parts 2 and 3 to hear the conclusion of the story.

    >.>

  • Well i feel for tim i walked in on my parents doing the "love thing" scarred me for life. but doesnt kreep me from doing the love thing.

  • the description is amazing

  • Thank you. I'm glad it painted a suitably descriptive picture for you.:)

  • 777 the slayer!!!

  • This is an excellent rendition of a great story (so far)!:D I definitely must listen to the rest! I've been a fan of horror stories since I was a child (a loooong time ago).

  • Oh my gosh, I LOVE THIS! And I'm not a horror fan either. But this was goooood. I want to listen to the part 2 now. Oh shit. I have to go downstairs to turn the lights off. Damn you! LOL Now I'm all scared. Quick, tell me something funny!!! LOL

  • Well, it's really funny how scared you are! LOL Thanks, Shauna--I hope you find the rest even scarier!;)

  • Brilliant story-telling in both the style of writing and the nature of this recording! I look forward to watching the next two parts right now =)

  • The whole soundscape - sounds excellent! Although, with that kind of a voice it must be possible to tell captivating stories also without special effects... ;)

  • You flatter me.:) Well, you know, the kiddies nowadays, it's hard to keep them interested without all the "flash".:)

  • Wow! That was great! I'm totally impressed. This was well read and the sound effects were well placed. I listening to this with my eyes closed and in the dark to really get into the story. I'm moving on to part two. 5 Stars already!

P.S. Sorry I took so long to come check it out.

  • Hey, thanks, man. Great, you listened to it just as I intended it to be heard.:)

  • Very Cool! Great job~

  • Thanks, Debbie! It's been an honor participating in Chris's little contest with you. I had fun and hope you did, too. Sure looks like you did.;)

  • maaaaaan i needed to watch that at day ahahaha :-D very very very good speaking.. did you consider make some audiobooks? :-D where you get the background sound? :-o my backsounds came almost from games lol :-D

  • Thanks, amigo.:) Funny--while making this, I kept wondering how those audiobooks guys do it. Man, my throat was killing me after a while.:) I largely used found sound FX. Things I've collected over the years.:) Although I did record a couple of Zombie moans myself.;)

  • i know that about the throat but especially those spits lol :-D how you manage it not to spit into your mike? :_pthe video world inhate was mention to be in voice inoff but a lot of spits lol .-D

  • I keep my mike just off to the side, so I'm not speaking right into it.

  • people told me to use a kind of membran before the miike, it only costs about 7 euros.. (10000 dollars lol)haha :D just kidding :D

  • Yeah, they make a little disc that can be mounted in front of the mic to keep percussive sounds from popping.

Yeah, how about that exchange rate. LOL

  • ahahah :-D well 1.46dollars = 1 euro :-D thats the true :-D

  • Spooky.:)

  • Ehhhhxxxcelllent (said Monty Burns-style).;) I'm glad it had its intended effect.;)

  • Oh my gosh! I'm not ordinarily a horror story/movie fan, but when I saw it was you, I had to. Now, I don't think I can listen to the rest tonight. I'm a lucid dreamer and I WILL have related dreams if I let it reach me too deeply. You are incredible. This is truly chilling. Are you a professional narrator? Amazing, amazing!

  • Parts 2 and 3 will have to wait until the daylight! You did a fantastic job with this.

  • Great. Going to Part 2 right now.

  • Andy, this is incredible. So well written and so well read. :) I love how this is from the perspective of a kid, what a great narrative decision.

I turned the lights off. Going over to part 2 and 3 now.

  • Thank you so much, Alex. I'm so pleased I could bring a little extra chill to your Halloween. I worked at breakneck pace to finish this by today. My only fear is that I finished it too late for anyone to be able to listen to today. So, if you like it enough, please do tell your friends.:) Thanks again.:)

  • I sent it to some friends. :)

  • Ooooh very good! It kept me on the edge of my seat. What a great Halloween treat!

  • Thank you, Stace! I hope I gave you a few goosbumps on this Halloween. Don't forget to listen to parts 2 and 3!;)
