Its because people are worried about their feeds and what not that when a guy falls into last stand they ignore it, knowing FULL well its in the game, resulting in them dying by it to then use that as an EXCUSE as to why they died. Black ops is literally full of excuses. But in terms of ghost, in cod4 you had UAV jammer. Not ghost pro supressor and ninja, eliminating you from air support...EVERYTHING except blackbirds which compared to the other classes is a tad OP.

Second chance is annoying for several reasons, but when you drop a guy into second chance and then die to his primary weapon, that is broken. How often do 2 guys kill each other using AR vs SMG? In CoD4 you could use UAV Jammer with Dead Silence and a silencer, which is almost the same as Ghost, suppressor, and Ninja, except for not being targeted by air support...

@theguardianPM Ok, well second chance can be fixed, if everyone got their anger out and then rationally thought about it rather than shunning it then we could all be happy. For instance, my solution would be EVERYONE gets second chance but it ONLY activates when shot from the waist below, above it is cancelled. I agree the blop shot and all that is nonsense but in hardcore its a useful perk. As for cod4 put on your UAV and see how many people show up as opposed to black ops.

@ThePuckington So...the blop shot, as in dying to a primary from a guy you've dropped into Second Chance needs to be fixed. Treyarch already implements headshots as cancelling Second Chance. Also why would you choose to use a perk that can only be effective when you die? As for UAV in CoD4, it basically boils down to having to give up Stopping Power in CoD4 or MW2 if you wanted to stay off the UAV. Since there's no Stopping Power in Black Ops, then Ghost becomes the obvious/overpowered choice...

Blop shot, he should have died but he didn't, in return he kills you because of second chance, I have RARELY ever seen 2 guys kill each other on black ops, because at some point you are bound to die and you have to accept that, but only when you do...you fight before you die. I once heard a man in afghan dropped into 'second chance' and killed 4 guys or something, its standard stuff...Go down with a fight not without.

@ThePuckington No, no, no. The blop shot should never happen. Since 2 guys hardly ever kill each other at the same time in Black Ops, it doesn't make sense. If the Second Chance guy has received enough damage/bullets to drop into Second Chance, then he clearly lost the gun fight, and his opponent should have remaining health. According to you though, the Second Chance guy receives enough damage to die, then drops into Second Chance, but somehow still caused full death damage to his opponent?

But honestly to clear things up I only have a problem with Ghost pro because it hides from everything except blackbird... But second chance, hey I know its in the game so when I shoot a guy down I make sure hes dead rather than ignoring it and blaming it on second chance, I do agree it has its glitches tho..

Ghost-like perks change because of 2 things. 1) Their perk position. When UAV Jammer, Camouflage, Cold-blooded, and Ghost are in a Perk 1, 2, or 3 category with something even more essential/popular than itself (i.e. Sleight of Hand), it isn't used as much. 2) If killstreaks are stackable. If the killstreaks are stackable, people don't use UAVs & Spy Planes as often to obtain their higher killstreaks, in turn having less people trying to counter that by using the Ghost-like perks.

@Adamocracy That's because in previous games, there were other viable perks in the perk slot. In CoD 4 and 5, your main perk could be stopping power, juggernaut, OR uav jammer. In MW2, you still had stopping power, an extremely powerful 2nd perk. In Black Ops, there are no other strong perks in the first slot, meaning now, you can be hidden from uav's without giving up the useful extra bullet damage, or extra health you used to be forced to sacrifice.
