I feel like I remember reading about a bike ride in the rain with a friend of his, which changed his mind from giving up biking to not giving up biking. I feel like maybe Lance was putting us on a bit here. Which is cool, except that who would blame him for considering giving up? And secondly-- isn't what he did even more heroic when we know he's human and he could have given up but he fought against that terrible urge?
