Looks to me like the red car (Lola T70 Spider) put its nearside rear wheel on the grass causing him to spin across the traffic.

ah i saw another vid of this accident but they missed it completely, this explains it, the Can-Am McLaren (could be wrong all Can-Am cars look the same) got turned into everyone. Nobody's fault there just bad luck

I was amazed by how much of a race it was when I went! This proves it. Damn shame about the cars though!
