One of the many things I love about your videos is how "normal" (sorry I know that's not the best word maybe); they are. It's you and your life- living it the same as anyone else. You have pets who love you- you take care of them. I find it encouraging.
I grew up around cats, so that part wasn't hard. I learned how to care for dogs when I was 15-16 and had one at the facility I was at. I got paid minimum wage for taking care of all the animals (dogs, horses, cats, etc) at that place among other things. Later worked at a wildlife rescue.
Pretty little doggie. I miss the snow too, though I don't miss the months of it being all grey and taking up parking spots and the sun setting at like 4:30.
I like how your dog also sits in the background of your videos, going, "what's she doing? when are we going to play?" i would love to hear more about how you and she interact. does she speak your language better than, you know, people that don't have cognitive differences from you?
I actually had to consciously learn dog language. She was very puzzled and wary of me at first because I'd forgotten dogs need dog language. But then she started wagging her tail when I flapped my hands. And I have relearned to wiggle around a bit and do dog stuff to make her less uneasy around me. I find cats more intuitive, but dogs are nice.
So interesting, because -- I'm not sure, but speaking as someone without autism, I find dogs easier to communicate with, because they look me in the eye and make their desires known directly. Cats, on the other hand, I have to figure out by their body language. I think that's a really interesting difference.
You have a very beautiful animal family.

You do seem to care a lot about these animals. Do you plan on getting a new pet soon?

I love your dog. You are really lucky to have him, and vice versa. I love the quietness of this video most of all.

Did someone have to help you learn how to care for your animals? They look happy to be with you in your videos, so you must be doing a good job!
