In my exp. it works much better folding in a different way but with a sim. constuction

to have a wider wing surface and then make vertical winglets about 1 cm high at the wing tips to reduce vortexes and thereby obtain a much better performance. And for increased lift add some 1-2 cm wide flaps ( 0.5 cm deep ) at the back edge of the wings that you bend slightly upwards to give you the optimum trim.

Such planes can be very stable, fly far and almost stand still in the air, if you are lucky.
