    LOL

  • Poor Grover

  • GO MERRY!

  • What Was The Rooster's Name?

  • Poor Rooster

  • Grover has got to be the worst farmer ever.

  • @damanrulz70 Yeah

  • @grapebuy789 He Is

  • Medicated Cookie? I want one when I'm sick!

  • @Nellystar101 LOL

  • Poor rooster. He should eat some chicken soup...oh wait....

  • Hey, good one.

  • @assilembrandywine He needs to eat some miso soup instead.

  • @Angie2343 What's Miso Soup?

  • @cstoczyn It's an Asian dish made with tofu and seaweed. Tastes better than it sounds.

  • @assilembrandywine He's A Rooster!

  • @cstoczyn Roosters ARE chickens. The same way stallions are horses, rams are sheep and men are Homo sapiens.

  • @assilembrandywine I Get It

  • Maybe they should have had Ruby play the daughter instead of Merry. She's into experiments if you recall.

  • @Garrettk41 O I C

  • Could someone please upload "Much Ado About Nothing"?

  • When I was little I didn't know Cookie Monster was spoofing Alistair Cook, so I always thought that Alistair was his first name.

  • Grover seemed very unsympathetic to the poor sick rooster and even wanted to get rid of the rooster when they found out the sun rises without the crowing.

  • medicated cookie!!!! x-D

  • Grover must be a farmer on this skit. What do you think?

  • The poor rooster. He couldn't even keep the medicated cookie in his beak. If there's a veterinarian who can cure, I'd say he deserves a big fat raise.

  • What did Cookie Monster/Alistair Cookie say at 4:55 to the rooster? It sounded like he either said "breathe" or "easy" before he said to the rooster, "cover your beak."

  • Alistair Cookie said to the rooster "Hey, Hey! Cover your beak."

  • I did hear Alistair Cookie saying "Hey, Hey" but, after he said "Hey, Hey", and before he said "Cover your beak", I heard him saying a word but, I'm not sure what word he said. (I wonder if that word he said was either "please", "breathe", or "easy", or some other word that I couldn't hear him say).

  • He said "Hey,Hey! Breathe. Cover your beak."

  • Actually, Alistair Cookie said "Hey! Hey! Please Cover your beak." To the rooster.

  • I'm not sure whether cookies can really help make you feel better when you're sick or, if it's just being used for the show since at 4:43, Cookie Monster/Alistair Cookie gave the rooster a cookie saying that it's a medicated cookie.

  • Do you think you could upload "Much Ado About Nothing"?

  • I also remember seeing this one in Spanish.

  • I'm even going to post in such.

  • I like the music cue when the sun rises.

  • I do, too.

  • How does the animals wake up if the chicken cock-o-doddle-doo?

  • The loud noise, duh.

  • Another MT Skecth of the 90's

  • "I'm not finished with my acting."

  • LOL Frank's Hilarious!

  • Are you sure about Joey Mazzarino doing Marry? She sounds like Alice Dinnean to me.

  • It's got to be Joey, it sounds just like him!

  • Well, I guess it does kind of sounds like him.

  • Definitely Joey.

  • Yes, I think it is.

  • It sounds like a higher-pitched Murray Monster to me, so it's gotta be Joey

  • It's Joey.

  • After a few times, I can tell it's him.

  • @jonnytbirdzback Thanks

  • @antsamthompson9 Definatly Joey. I mistook Merry Monster's voice for Alice Dinnean too.

  • @grapebuy789 Okay.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • Wasn't there another Monsterpiece Theater sketch just like this, only it excluded the sick rooster. I don't know. I just don't remember the rooster in this one.

  • Perhaps you're thinking of "Fiddler on the Roof"

  • Well, what I was saying was the sketch I remembered had just Grover and Merry Monster and not the rooster. It was like an alternate take or something. I'm not sure, and since I can't find anything on Muppet Wiki about it, I guess I must have remembered it wrong. Oh well =\
