  • Hmm..I always had tuning issues on a mad setup..I went with an MS1 kit with the tip120 kit to control spark and pwm idle valve..and o ditched the mad due to megasquirt having an inboard map sensor..no more issues..just start with a stock timing map and then take the V.E. tables to read a higher KPA level. And retard 1.5* for every lb/ boost.. im at 20* timing at 9+ # of boost..and the system is only around 200.00 if you can build circuit boards..any questions just message me..Vids in my channel

  • I talked to Chris and he said to set base timing at 10* advanced so that is where it is set.

  • I received by e-mail the base tune from PAS and I solve the tuning issue. Do you set the base timing on 6*?

  • Yes I have the AEM widedand. I'm not sure if the single tune chip is compatible with my mods because I bought the chip when the engine was aspirated. I include a short video of the issue. Check my profile

  • I have the same turbo kit, same fuel pump injectors, maf and my car has tuning issues. The tuning is supported by a Moates single tune chip. I don't know what happens!

    Who tuned the Moates chip? Are you running a wideband?

  • 42lb green tops, PMAS 42lb Pro Tube MAF, Walbro 190 until I can swap it to a 255 Walbro.

  • What maf, injectors and fuel pump?
