  • im still stuck over the two.the only thing stopping me gettig pros is dat ders no hard case and apparently there very uncomfortbale

  • Just bought pros n they r amazing

  • all I have to say is I have the studios and there awesome but I really want the pros because my one friend let me listen and wow they were amazing but my other friend has the HD solos and his one speaker blew out so SOLOS BLOW EVEN THE HD ONES so definitely get pros or studios

  • Beats are for bass lovers. half the price goes to the design, features like noise cancelling or the built quality of the pro and also the packaging. dat's why they are expensive.

  • wich are better

  • Studios, wireless, solo, pro which should I get I was thinking studio wireless! Help!

  • @AL3XMW3 None, cause these headphones are way overpriced.

  • white studios

    #highfashon

  • Audio Technica > Beats by Dre. Nuff said.

  • want to look like a douche who doesn't know anything about headphones??? want to become the ultimate hipster??? then buy beats today!!! :D

  • @MrPwnstar007 Hipsters wouldn't want beats. they're too mainstream.

  • Hes basically saying the studios suck

I own a care and they r amazing

Pros r an extra 100$ and it isn't worth it

  • @SMMA131 I own the pro and the studio but I will be honest I actually found that the pros are way better than the studio.

    How the pro is better:

    -Sound Volume

    -Sound Quality

    -Comfort

    -Durability

  • I own:

    -ATH-M50

    -AKG K240

    -KRK KNS 8400

    -Beats Pro

KRK are my favorite. Beats for mixing low end.

Of course, final mix on my KRK 10-3's

Beats aren't the most comfortable though!

  • Hey I wanna buy a pair of these beats but not sure which 1. I can get the pros cheaper than the studios but the only thing that's making me doubt the pros is that you don't get a hard case for them and I really don't want to damage them whilst transporting them around.

  • @mattnicholls1992 I have my own pair of pros, the hard case isn't necessary because the metal design is extremely durable

  • @AguitargodA Cool ok thanks

  • ATTENTION EVERYBODY!!! Do NOT waste your money on Beats by Dre headphones! do yourself a favor and buy a pair of Audio-Technica ATH M50 headphones. They are WAY cheaper, and sound 10000x better than these over-priced, over-hyped, commercial headphones, that are worth no more than $70. The build quality sucks, the sound quality sucks... they just suck. Sure, they look nice, but who cares when they dont sound good? that IS what you are paying for after all right?

  • @dudeononewheel ATH-500 pro or ATH-700mk2 pro

  • @spezz01 Mk2 for diarrhea inducing bass, 500 for a little less in price. I would put the ATH-M50 before the 500 (only about $10 more, if not the same price)

The M50's are very very true to the track, (very flat sound (thats good) and not too much bass) and if you want more bass get a headphone amp.

I would recommend the M50's with a headphone amp to you, but the Mk2's are stellar as well!

  • i really want beats for my birthday but i dont nowe wich ones to get. help?

  • @OrangeColorz The entire beat's line Sucks, go for some Audio Technica's ATH-M50, Senheiser or even Bose

  • i wanna get the beats so bad

  • Where did you by your beats pros from

  • Beats are just the best headphones ever

  • beats pro dont have sound cancelation

  • the studios are far better, if you like more bass

  • 0:29 - he's holding sex in his hands.

  • @itsnickyeah No he's not, Beats are very crappy headphones.

  • Just got the pros yesterday

    Swag

  • i recommend the studio to children and da pro for adults

  • @tonycool1999 I would never recommend the Beats to anyone...

  • @miceblue425 who cares though?

  • some jealous ppls right here ;)

  • You guys can go ahead and look retarded with those head phones on... Music is about trends and fashion.

  • my goodness..these goes for up to RM1600 i nmalaysia ..limited edition is RM2600 ...galaxy s2 only costs rm1900 what ht hell

  • beats are terrible anyways

  • YOU NEVER REVIEWED THE HOUSE OF MARLEY STIR IT UPS!!! DO IT

  • Great review! :)

  • @JustinBieberVEVO No justin i will not show you my dick

  • wich are better looking if you wear it?

  • @alal24 Who cares? Buy headphones that actually sound nice, not these overpriced pieces of shit.

  • or spend $150 on some bose headphones

  • Nice video...thank you for posting

  • Guys, Beats aren't bad!

...They're just waaaay overpriced. Like a pair that compares is usually half or less the price of whichever Beats pair.

  • Listening to this on my Beats Pro.

  • AKG q701 or AKG k702 for studio use is the way to go ;)

  • @racer2213 ATH-M50s/M50 are the way to go :)

55 bucks for a headphone with an volume and bass control 2 speakers 2 subwoofers build in

extremely comfortable no sound leak at all just straight up good

  • @67jamief YEA RITE THE PROS AREN'T HEAVY STUDIOS SUCKK!!!

  • Phew u scared me I Thot u said the pros run on batteries but then I figured out they don't I had to watch the bid like 12 times lol

  • This guy has to be joking! ive had both and i could only wear the pros for like 20 minets because they are so heavy and unconftable! HANDS DOWN STUDIOS ARE BETTER!

  • i got the pros for $190.00 on beatsdreaudio. #winning!

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent review gotta agree with you 100% I had both first studios then pro's and the pro's are just better quality and a tad better sound too

  • Dang ;/ wish i had the money to buy one of these

  • you think you can do a review on the sony MDRXB500 headphones compared to the studios

  • Wat i wanna know is which has the heavier bass

  • @lorethela the pros get the better bas, really deep

  • canada = electronics 50 dollars more, shoes = 50 dollars more clothing = 30 dollars more.

  • Guys I've got the money for Pros, but I want to know which I should buy. I am going to be using these for about 1-1/2 hours 2 times a day on a bus, so i want to know what is best for this.

  • If you want good headphones and aren't a DJ or anything, get sennheisers. If you want beats, go for MIXRs or Studios.

  • Can you compare the Beats Pro with the Silver Studios?

    Aluminum vs. Aluminum.

And apparently the SIlver Studios sound better than it's original.

  • @AsianTaeHyun The silver studio's ARE NOT aluminium.

  • @unduswaffel You sure?

I'm holding these babies right now, and they are, as labeled, brushed aluminium.

  • @AsianTaeHyun Well, how much heavier are they than the normal studio's then? They're probably just Aluminium plated.

  • I listen to music everyday and I ran through 8 pairs of earphones last year so should I just get these or does the wire or headphones break easily

  • @UFCMexicanFighter1 I bought the Beats Pro in White about a month ago and the cable is proper thick and the headphones are well made and will last for years. They come with a 2 year warranty aswell.

  • @UFCMexicanFighter1 The Pros are durable, and they feel solid (like seriously a giant bar of metal). You'll enjoy these. However, the Pros are uncomfortable, and I MEAN IT. NO EXCEPTIONS. Ask everyone else: It's heavy, and it clamps on your ears like crabs.

The Studios are less durable. It feels like it could break any minute. Because of the rotating cups, it rattles a lot, causing distractions from listening to music.

For better headphones for the price, try V-Modas, Mixmasters, AKGS, or SOULS.

  • @UFCMexicanFighter1 Sorry, I ran out of room for my previous comment, so:

V-Moda: The LP2 is over ear and strong bass, if you like that. The M/V-80s are on ear, but has the BEST sound quality for any celebrity endorses headphone.

Mixmaster: Skullcandy is general known to make bad headphones. Teaming up with Mixmaster Mike, this is probably the best over ear celebrity endorsed DJ headphones.

AKGS: Professional line for audiophiles. Just consideration. Get the Q-701s.

  • @UFCMexicanFighter1 Continuing on:

SOULS: Exact same as Beats Studios, but a lot more durable. The SL300 (over ear) is worse than the Studios in my opinion, but the SL150 (on ear) is second best, right below M/V-80s.

If you still like Beats, then let me tell you some considerations. The New Beats MIXRS are coming out, and they are on ear headphones that is made of aluminum like the Pros, but it's lighter. One last note: Don't EVER consider getting Solos. EVER.

  • @UFCMexicanFighter1 Though AsianTaeHyun is correct for most of what he said, don't get the Q701's since they require a lot of power to drive them and you would need to buy a decent amp as a result.

It's worth mentioning the Audio Technica ATH-M50's as well ($130) since they can outperform the Beats Pro headphones and are made of a durable plastic material with earcups that are easily adjustable/swivelable/able to lie flat/able to fold up nicely.

  • All Monster headphones suck balls. Do yourself a favor instead, and buy some good quality headphones like AKGs, Kosses, Sennheisers, Audio-technicas, Grados, or Beyerdynamics instead. UNLESS you LIKE paying 90% of the price just for the design, because they both sound like $30 headphones

  • @Mates1500 That is why people buy Monster products. They actually look good and you won't ever want to take them off.

  • The pros aren't comfortable! Not to mention the studios are made for daily use, you know like anybody. But the pros are for dj's and aren't as flexible and comfortable, they are useless for you if you don't do that kind of stuff.

  • So from your guy's opinion- pros or studios because I'm gonna by beats and beed to know

  • @Unrelentlessxxrapper for a person whom just wants to hear music on his computer studios, dj and using them for proffesional use definetly pros, its up to you

  • Im a drumer, i dont know whether to get studio's over pro's because of the isolation, you know i wanna be able to hear the music without killing the headphone by putting them on full blast, so could you help me out please :)

    -Thanks

  • @jakwasere2k9 i like my studios because of the colors pros are plain

  • @jakwasere2k9 You should get the Sennheiser HD 25-1 instead. Lighter, more durable, better sounding. The HD 25 headband splits so you can make it stay on your head, and isolates very well.

  • av had solo's , studio's and pro's and i think the studios are the best by far

  • Thumb up if you feel like a dumb ass for getting solo HDs ...

  • @HeyHiHelloImDaniel Giving mine to my brothes 16th Birthday . lol

  • 79 people got an 6eats 6e dre

  • @blackjusi or 79 people realize that the Beats headphones are crap for your money.

  • @miceblue425 or you are a mother fucker and never bought those beats and just say crap so people wont buy it (1 tip BUY IT)

  • @blackjusi Or I can prove it to you with audio tests that the Studios offer the sound quality of $50 headphones and the $400 Pro's offer the sound quality of $130 headphones. I used to own the Pros actually and I sold them after I heard the $130 Audio Technica headphones. I say 'crap' because it's a fact of audio reproduction, the cold hard truth about how they perform against other headphone companies. Disprove those FACTS otherwise and maybe I'll consider re-buying the Pros.

  • @miceblue425 but beats by dre are just too nice :P

  • @blackjusi To some people, which is an subjective opinion. I prefer the super comfortable Beyerdynamic headphones or the superb build quality of the AKG or Sennheiser headphones. For looks, I prefer the V-Moda M80's with customizable metal ear plates, the Shure SRH940's, Alessandro/Grado headphones, or even the planar magnetic HiFiMAN HE-400 headphone.

  • @miceblue425 but if you wanne rock on the streets you buy beats by dr dre cause the look to nice

  • Comment removed

  • @blackjusi Do you know anything about headphones? Beats are fucking awful. There are $150 headphones that can beat any of the Dre models in both build quality and sound quality. Do some research before you post on a video likely to be swarming with audiophiles.

  • @miceblue425 and yes I can afford them, don't give me that excuse either. Just take a look at my videos if you don't believe me. I own over $400 in headphones and I've been around audio equipment that cost well over $2000. Since I have room in this comment, I might as well post the sources where you can find the audio tests to see the facts for yourself.

  • Stfu studios are better no one cares about ur Opinion xDDD

  • so proes are better than studio right

  • Actually the PROS do SOUND better than the STUDIOS, BUT the PROS will weigh heavy on your head after wearing them for awhile and they will hurt your ears because the way the muffs are shaped its like a clamp down on your ears and they will begin to hurt after awhile.

STUDIOS = GOOD - More Comfortable,Good Sound. BAD - Needs Batteries, Leaks ALOT.

PROS= GOOD - Much Better Sound, No Leakage, No Batteries.BAD- Weighs heavy on head after wearing them for awhile, Clamps down on ears.

  • @playboi182 Verdict: Do not buy Beats by Dr. Dre.

Instead, spend half the money on some GOOD headphones.

  • @ChaosBW or buy the fake (but it must be the good fakes)

  • @playboi182 actually if you were paying attention he said that the pros sound better

  • @playboi182 thank-you, you convinced me to buy pros. thanks.

  • So in the end the pros are better?

Why didn't you jut say that at first

  • fuck you bitch studios are better

  • @poop6410 You're kidding, right? The Pro's have superior sound quality to the Studios. If you don't believe me, I have audio tests to back it up. The Pros are a major improvement over the Studios for sound, but they both are crap for your money. Even a $130 Audio Technica headphone has better sound quality than the Pro's.

  • @miceblue425 you NEED to stop trolling on every beats vid

  • @BMoreTyga And why is that? Because people actually do want good sound for the money they pay? Because people do want to know about other good headphone options? Because I state facts about other competitors, the cold-hard truth? Because I'm here to educate others about their misunderstandings? Name 3 reasons why I should stop 'trolling' and maybe I will.

  • @BMoreTyga 3 valid, legitimate reasons. Not: 1. because you're annoying, 2. because you don't know what you're talking about (I have the data to prove my statements), 3. because people don't care (people actually do care believe it or not)

  • These head-phones are a joke and a play idiots who does not know any better. I agree with @HC351

  • Is this Jon Rettinger? (jon4lakers) ?

  • :O i have pros and want studios detox ones

  • I bought these thinking they were really good sound. But I am honestly disappointed :/

  • You do realise people buy beats not only for their quality, which is good when they are getting the required power ( that you won't get from your ipod ) But mainly is for their looks and the brand name, Beats. Same reason as to why you buy brand name cloths, to feel superior to others. If you buy these for studio reasons then yes that's an extremely stupid choice, but for out and about use they're perfect.

  • They both suck

  • Should I get the silver or white beats? They both look good....

  • whats the fucking difference they both fucking spill out sound into your ears !!!!!!!!

  • Denon D2000 > this beats crap :P

  • @Akoroush idiot

  • I have studios they rule. They are comfier than the pros and for the average listener sound the exact same. Thumbs up if you agree

  • @conorcdc I'm wearing my pros, and the functionality puts them way over the studios.

  • its funny almost every review i go to for the beats by dre headphones there is always a ton of comments talking about how overpriced the headphones are and how many headphones are better at a cheaper price. Really, who gives a fuck? how is someone getting beats headphones fucking up your life? i love the look of these headphones i love bass and i love how they sound.Im not biased at all, why cant i get headphones and not be insulted just because you're mad you cant afford them?!

  • @playboi182 I can afford beats fine. I could probably buy the entire line direct, but...

You seem to be under the impression that Beats haters are rejecting the beats for only their popularity and their price. Concerning price, the beats are a pittance compared to hifi products and their audiophile collectors. Concerning build quality, they really are lacking. You seem to be taking this rather personally, when our statements are really no more than an unfavorable review and opinion.

  • @playboi182 Reviews are done as a favor, to let the company know what's up, and to spread consumer awareness. I like music, I talk about the things related to music, including music reproduction. As a consumer and as a person, I am biased to what I think is best. By measure of sonic accuracy, the beats don't stack up.

This IS all about taste, after all. If you like the beats, enjoy it. I should really say that the beats are overrated for what should be normally a niche product.

  • @playboi182 They are overpriced, that's a fact. $50 Sennheiser headphones have better audio performance than the $300 Studios; $130 Audio Technica headphones have better audio performance than the $400 Pros. How could you NOT call that overpriced? Some people actually do care about saving money. With the Audio Technica's you could go ahead and buy another headphone if you want with the $270 savings you get out of it.

  • @playboi182 Also, take a look at my latest videos. I'm surrounded with audio gear that can easily add up to over $2000. I also own more than $400 worth of headphones, how can you say that I can't afford them?

  • Shure > Beats by Dr.Dre

  • @BMoreTyga This is the reality man . Beats have just style (or not ) and make bad sound So i repeat Shure > Beats by dre

  • Comment removed

  • Oh secondly... non 'cheaper' headphones look as good. Pah, you going to walk around with some SRH 840s? You'd look like a complete dunce. Fashion+Music quality put into one. Price tag? so what, cant afford? then dont come on these videos.

  • @DubSanta Professional headphones are not fucking fashion accessories. That is like saying a F1 car is better because of the way it looks. When talking about studio headphones and all other top of the line engineered products its all about performance, engineering innovation, and functionality. Monster's are uneven and the bass drowns everything else. For 140$ get Audio Technicia ATH-M50 they sound better .If you want fashion go buy some sunglasses or shoes not headphones.

  • @DubSanta They can easily look better than cheap glossy plastic. I don't see why headphones have to be a tacky fashion accessory as well as a sound making device.

It's not that they're expensive, especially since I've own more pricey headphones, it's that they're expensive for no good reason, since their have a severely underperforming sound. If you couldn't tell how they were different, then you shouldn't even be buying headphones in the first place.

  • @DubSanta Shure SRH940? $300. Sennheiser HD238? $100. Yes I can afford them. Would I want to buy them? Nope. V-Moda Crossfade M80, $200, better sound quality than the Studios, better build quality than the Studios, better warranty than the Studios, able to order CUSTOM METAL ear plates which the Studios don't offer, better customer support than Monster, just as fashionable as the Studios, what more could you want? You still save $100 from it all as well. Can't beat that.

  • I'd like to just point out, all of you criticizing the beats are getting really stupid. For one, I have compaired the SRH 840s to some studios and guess what, they do not sound that much different? And they're not even that much cheaper? I've had various style of headphones and all performed well. But, Clearly the non beats users are Biased. that is a definite fact. I presume if you had some then you wouldn't be so biased? but you are. Don't know if that's jealousy of sheer stupidity?

  • @DubSanta Beats are $300 earmuffs that have speakers thrown in. They're essentially worthless. They're only targeted at a bass audience, but sony's xb series gets you more bass for less than a hundred dollars, all while being more comfortable with better mids and highs. I'm not saying beats are bad headphones. They're great headphones so long as you fulfill one of two conditions: A) they're $30 B) They're free. Otherwise, they suck.

  • @DubSanta Fact, the Studios have recessed mids and a terrible bass roll-off. Look at the data. It's not an opinion, it's a FACT of sound reproduction. The Studios are crap against the SRH840's for audio reproduction and are the reason why they're used by audio engineers. And audio engineer wouldn't want to use the sup-par-sounding Studios and it's proven with FACTS that they perform poorly against the 840's. I guess you have pretty cruddy music files if you can't tell the difference.

  • no respectable DJ would use beats. beats add a charateristic tothe music (some like it, some hate it). Producers need headphones that play the music as you would hear itthrough a normal speaker.

  • Haters gonna hate

  • dammitttt. i decided to get solo hd white instead of studios because i was short $100 and i forgot that my grandma/grandpa give $100 dollars for christmas about 2-3 weeks late. im so sad :'(

  • THUMBS UP if now you feel bad about having studios =(

  • @ToXiicRaps Thank you baby jesus i got the pros lol

  • @ToXiicRaps

listen to Sony XB700 and you will feel even worse :D (if your into bassy music)

  • @ToXiicRaps this review is shite , av had both pairs and found the studios louder , comfier and they also fit on your ears better where as the pros after about and hour the weight of them seems to get to much and when they was on my ear it seemed irritating , the studios are better by far

  • @coxyeverblazin louder=/=better. They don't leak as much as the studios, but the pros are heavy.

  • @ToXiicRaps I HAVE STUDIOS DIDNT BUY THE PRO CUZ ITS UGLY AND TOO MUCH BIG WHEN I GOT TO SCHOOL OR SHOPPING !!!

  • KOSS PORTA PRO all the way xD

  • ARE MY BEATS FAKE OR NOT? check my video...i bought them off eBay! did i get ripped off.

  • People come on Beats videos to complain about Beats? Why? Get a life. If there are better headphones ok. So?

  • I want the pros so badly!

  • it was $299.95 for me
