@sunsensations isn't he just? hehe, aw! earl carpenter's playing the phantom in the mayflower theatre next february- definitely going to see that one! haha:')
best part at 1:06 when those phenomenal men come in!! cant stop listening to those fours parts! and Nicole really hit that last note perfectly!!! i amazed by this performance
I know two of the four male singers. I'm the one on the inside left is Ramin Karimloo (Loved him in the 25th anniversary concert), and the one on the inside right is John Owen Jones I think. I'm not sure who the other two are
she needs to go to italy or whearever and audtion for a role in a opera house im telling u grl u doen the wrong thing though this is more of a broadway song though my point she should be a opera star!!!!!
Am I the only one surprised by Nicole? I knew she could sing, but no way I ever imagined she could sing like this! Well done, Nicole! Maybe she should show more about what she is capable of.
you know, give her credit, i know shes no sarah brightman, but man she brought it, and singing it with 4 other great singers is very hard. I give her major props... plus its a big deal to sing these songs, they are classics!
I know a natural soprano when I heard one, and the operatic vocalizing at the end part sounded doctored via autotune. Nicole is no Sarah Brightman nor Sierra Boggess.
@annakwan78 I've heard her hit an Eb5 and F5 while warming up. She also hit a G6 using her whistle register on an Eden's Crush song. She sounds definitely a NATURAL soprano. Watch her impromptu acapella of "Ave Maria" on George Lopez for proof.
Nicole did a good job at this performance, but she isn't even half as good as Sierra Boggess who plays this part on th 25th Anniversary dvd of the phantom of the opera.
@NscherzingerFan It's not really important, I know. I only just watched the 25th anniversary of the phantom this morning, so I still had Sierra Boggess on my mind. I was completely blown away by her. It's probably not really fair to compare Sierra and Nicole. To be fair, Nicole did a great job. I had no idea that she could sing like that!
@NscherzingerFan Nicole practiced it in TWO DAYS. I didn't expect her to sing perfectly or to even sing it good but she exceeded my expectations. I think it's perfectly normal that she isn't "half as good" as a professional opera singer.
@NscherzingerFan Um get your facts straight sweetie...Nicole is trained as an Opera singer. She has studied for years to be able to :practice something for a week and be able to perform it, although I sincerely doubt that was the case. Oh and by the way Phantom of the Opera is NOT an Opera it is a Musical. ENORMOUS difference!! Nuff said
@lezlr10 She practiced this performance in just a few days, since she was busy with the US XFactor. I have my facts straight, she has studied it classical music including opera, and it may be a musical but the music has def. opera in it! The fact that she still has to practise is that she mostly use her voice for pop music these days and then you use your voice differently.
@NscherzingerFan I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but I am a trained opera singer so I have first hand experience...um how about you? You are right about one thing you do use your voice differently when you sing pop but this is the difference - FACT when you sing pop music you use about 10 % of your voice...when you sing Opera like Aida for example you use about 85% of your voice. Also there isn't any Opera in Phantom of the Opera it is called legit singing. Look it up!
@Behk Thank you! She is talented but I would like to hear her hit an F# ABOVE high C like I can and hold her own in a 3 hour opera...just sayin! I'm thinking maybe she should switch to opera because when she sang "Pretty" on Xfactor it was anything but pretty lol!
this music gives me chills .....

@lezlr10 So true! And just because she can hit a high C (which any soprano can do,) doesn't make her good... 'cause... she's not.
