@lazurm I work in Manhattan and have probably seen lots of celebrities but not known who they were. In magazines, I see candid shots of them in New York, and think, "If it hadn't been for this magazine, I'd have no idea who that is." Because I don't watch TV or movies or music videos, I still have no idea who they are! But David Byrne, I'd know instantly. In fact, I'd probably flirt. :-) I hope I see him someday.
@plutoplatters Well, actually, he wouldn't have not mineded it since he wouldn't have been aware of the fact that he wasn't recognized. I'd actually have to tell him that I don't recognize the fact that he's David Byrne, in which case he'd have minded the fact that I'm lying, if he was so inclined. I think this is getting absurd! :)

It irks me that, if I rode my bike near him, on my way to someplace, I wouldn't recognize who he is. Dam irks me....
