  • I followed you instructions, got all my apps sideloaded correctly and working fully except for minecraft pocket edition, it gives be a license error after I install and try to open it? Any ideas on how to solve that?

  • @GunzandposeS sideloading apps will not void warrenty. only installing pirated apps is illegal (paid apps u didn't pay for)

  • HEY! I am tech savy, but I know that rooting the kindle fire will void the warranty, so i will hold out until that is expired. I was just wondering if this is illegal and if it will void the warranty. Please reply soon to this email: gunzandposes@gmail.com THANK YOU ALL!

  • @bix75001 for Google service apps u have to flash Google framework first

  • I followed all instructions and it worked ok for most apps except for the Google Gmail App. Is there an issue when side loading it on 6.2.1 for the Kindle? The Gmail App appears to install (goes through the process normally with no error messages) but when selecting it to open it flashed the screen to a blank white page then returns to where you started.

  • Thanks this was so easy to do. And it's my first android device.

  • I got the apk fine off my phone and put onto the Kindle Fire, but when it went to install, it said "Application Not Installed". Maybe it has something to do with the update that pushed out this morning?

  • @metalligimp i dont think so, its probably a problem w the apk, or the app isnt compatible with the fire

  • Hey wuahn, try to search for Ultimate Backup by JRummy instead, he recently renamed the app. Just tried this entire process and it worked great for most app, a few were locked (app tried to authenticate upon bootup and couldnt) and would not load but ~80% worked just fine.

  • so i have a question im outside the us can i get file expert from a site like 4shared and load it right on to my fire?

  • @aer0zeppelin yup. I explain how to do that in the FAQs in the video description.

  • @nat3mil thanks man, one more question. Can you download zip apps from a torrent site, that are for android, and do the same thing?

  • @JokerWsS95 All apps are .apk so wherever u can find them should work. Be careful with some though ppl theoretically could put a virus in it.

  • Does this mean that you can install a new home app like launcher pro or adw or something?

  • @1bballplayer2011 yup, although I couldn't get launcher pro to work, but go launcher works. I think adw works too

  • Would the user, after rooting the Kindle Fire, be able to install vanilla android over the amazon software and UI?

  • @tormaid42 not yet, but I'm sure people are working on it now. I'll be posting a video on how to do that when a rom is available
