@HafwayHolmes every religion has its way of marketing itself as different and better than other religions. However, if we examine the way mystics in every religion express themselves we find great similitude. If you examine the history of how the term 'Kundalini,' and its predecessor 'virya' you will find your premises come from historically much later literature. If you read the Yoga sutras and the Bhagavad Gita in its original language you will find none of the language you are expressing.
@tevung64 I am glad I could be of some help to you. Do ride out the kundalini when it next arises and do let us know what you find. I found a profoundly non-dual experience in the complete effacement of identity, as well as a powerful ecstatic experience.
I see the parallels of kundalini activation using DMT in the spirit of worship and what occurs in the buddist chakra meditations. It is through prayer, meditation and worship that the DMT is activated to have the spiritual experience that elevates consciouness. I am on a higher plane and walk the path seeking wisdom and enlightenment. I am grateful to find a Full Gospel Church where the Holy Spirit flows freely through believers in the course of worship.
@zaxman67 yes, I agree, it has been my experience that most psychedelics, when taken in a sacred manner, can indeed lead to a spiritual experience, which is not unlike kundalini, samadhi, contemplation, holy spirit; however, I never found fulfillment or improvement in my psyche from taking psychedelics; whereas, I have found transformation of the psyche to fulfillment through leading a rigorous and skillful contemplative life. Thus, I have concluded that psychedelics are just a glimpse
@csmdeg "Christians supposed to live by faith and not by feelings" does not seem to be what Jesus taught, if we are going to read early Christian literature critically. Also, I have never said, "the Bible also teaches Kundalini." I am saying "the description in the gospels of the experience of the Holy Spirit is sufficiently similar to the description of kundalini, vîrya, viriya in the Yoga Sutras, Bagavad gita, and Discourses of the Buddha to suggest that to Jesus it was the same thing
No bibilical support. Snake has different meaning for the Israelites at that time, condition and situation. You are out of context. Anyways, I believe that what is happening in so many churches today are Kundalini, and pagan practice. Jesus is very clear about the Holy Spirit but nothing like this. Christians supposed to live by faith and not by feelings.
@csmdeg yes, I agree the only reference for the snake in the bible is in the garden of Eden, and I was not at all connecting the snake iconography with the Bible; however, the description in the gospel that described the experience of the Holy Spirit is certainly sufficiently similar to description of kundalini, vîrya, viriya, to suggest that it is one and the same. Also, early Christians used the term virtue in much the same as early Buddhist and Hindu literature used the terms vîrya, viriya.
@mephibosheth sorry friend, but religions tend to be dogmatic about product and personality identification and placement; however, god is beyond human constraints, and is experienced in the same way by its mystics regardless of the constraints of religion.
OMG, the kundalini got stuck today and like you said I thought I was gonna explode or die! I had been in meditaiton so long I thought surely 10 hours had gone by, it was 3..Long enough! I can't get past it.. I wrote you an email. Thank you for these videos!
@nimitta1 very good work. I have found staying in samadhi with a full blown kundalini rush for 3 hours can be blissful, but it can also annihilate the ego, which is a good thing, but few are ready for it. Keep up the good work.
@Frauchan Yes, the sad part about the meditation community of teachers is none of them seem to know anything at all about the various charismatic phenomena. This is why I am publishing this series
I really like the fact that you connect dharma with Christianity since I feel that we need more information on the true/mystic Christianity. Maybe you know more about this stuff and can make more vids!
@doedelhai2010 Sven, the more I study the mystics and the more time I spend as a mystic, the more I realize the mystics of the various religions have more in common than they do with their religion
Kundalini is not synonymous to the Holy Spirit. Kundalini moves upward and out. Holy Spirit moves down and in. Opposites actually.

That is very helpful. I will try "riding it out" next time. Maybe I just wasn't waiting long enough before.

The Dark Night of the Soul, Spiritual Emergency...
When personal tranformation becomes a cricis., who will help you? Doctors can´t help you. You will be misdiagnosed...
I recommend these books by Stanislav and Christina Grof: "The Stormy Search for the Self" and "Spiritual Emergency"..

@Varavaken yes, few can help one with the spiritual crisis. This suggests that few have actually negotiated it.

the conclusion of the whole thing, you are saying that the Bible is also teaching Kundalini?

The Holy Spirit does not correspond with any of those other terms. The Holy Spirit only indwells those which have come to God through Jesus Christ.
