For the DD there the animation gives no indication that the ions are aqueous, and it implies both prodcuts are real, ignoring precipitation. The SD shows a reaction between the metal solid and the ion, which does not occur--the reaction is the electron exchange between the two metals. The ion is a spectator. Do we really have to simplify to the point of being plain incorrect? And no indication of rxn mechanism at all.
