I remember the 1st time I saw Lucinda. She was coming out of Emma Joes a little hole in the wall next to Antones on the main drag in Austin, Texas early 1980's. She had a cotton sundress on, a beat up straw cowgirl hat & barefeet with her guitar across her back. My best friend & I used to drink pitchers of Shiner Bock & listen to her croon in that smokey tiny dive. A couple times I got lucky & she heard me singing harmony & waved me up. :) Love ya Lou & RIP to all our friends who are gone.
