Wow, this is great to watch. I lived in Utah for just one short year and went to Club Mambo regularly. I am even in the footage (in the audience) watching the 2005 competitors. I loved dancing there. I developed a huge love for Salsa when I lived in Utah and it hasn't ended. I loved watching this, brings back so many memories. Thanks!
Excellent documentary! Although, I am disappointed that you failed to include Tropicana as part of the beginning of Salsa in Utah. I run into people weekly that recognize me from dancing and they still mention Tropicana as where it all started. Maybe some of you weren't around back then? but the Franco's were huge in bringing Salsa to Utah in the later 90's. Tropicana was the only place to go for quite awhile. I hope the full version gives credit where credit is due...

Thanks for watching.Tropicana did get mentioned in some of the interviews I conducted, as well as many other subjects. Having done 7 interviews at an hour each, I had to cut all that down to 23 minutes so A LOT got cut for this short documentary.
If you read the whole info section, you can see that I do plan to expand this into a feature length documentary. Tropicana will definitely be in it. Read the whole info section as it shows my plans to expand this.
