  • At the end of the day, even we know it's not efficient to continue talking to SPR and the current ruling government to achieve the electoral reform because the political will to do so doesn't exist, we have to still sit calmly and talk to them. It's slow process but if we continue doing it again and again, change will happen. UBAH. BERSIH.

  • Its wonderful that Malaysians can debate in a civilised manner and in a humourous way too and all credits to everyone participating . This is maturity on the part of everyone and can only result in a more democratic way of life.

EC must clean up the electoral roll esp the suspect 'postal votes' so that the Rakyat can respect the election process.

We have a good person in EC Datuk Wan Ahmad but he must show he is his own person of good conscience and NOT of his political master.

  • SPR became comedy !!!

  • org tua ni jerut leher sendiri..hahahaha

  • salahkan budak2 kerani??? budak2 kerani dia lulusan UPSR ke???

  • @wongcampong @kingnek @MANBOS4872 @BangkitlahMelayu @Cinapek88 @virphirod @ReentryCapsule @knight2battle @bahasajawi

Biometric boleh tak boleh ditipu? Dakwat kekal boleh ditipu? I can tell you, its a the only way for BN to cheat on the next GE.

  • SPR talking to much, see what they can done, already 54 yrs, today still in work in progress !

a body of no power, taking care of election, what all these means,

lebih baik tak perlu SPR, sama juga.

bangun lah SPR, the politic of the day always be hero, and SPR tikus ke,?

apa terjadi pilihan raya di Sarawak ! BERSIH ?

u cakap seperti budak saja, kata tak boleh, ini tak boleh itu, kuasa lain tanggunjawap, betul ?

Jangan belah yang salah, sila bangun dan buat dengan betul , OK

  • Credit to Wan Ahmad for his courage to face then public....

  • Atas lagi ??????????? paham2 jelah sapa punya kerja tu....

  • it's easy to notice in this debate who's on the right side and who had been struggling hard to hide something....

  • @zshi1 take it as an assumption. PKR ruling the gov after coming GE13. imagine if they do the same thing as the current gov, corruption, politic kotor, dont you think it will be late if you demand for fare and clean election for GE14? We need the right, as a malaysian citizen, to choose what is best for us, and not for the particular group of people.

  • @bakawen0406 your comment are all over the place and many are out of topic. Please rephrase and stick to the subject matters if you would like me to respond :)

  • @zshi1 Our Prime Minister saying they declared Bersih 2.0 as an illegal body, as they want to protect people's properties. Yes. i went for the assembly. what i can say is, i saw the Real 1Malaysia exist. all malays protect we chinese and india which smaller group to leave, when tear gas, water cannon shoot in the crowd. we as a malaysian, we just wish we all to have a better future. we not claiming the ruling gov to step down, we just a fare election.

  • @zshi1 please list down what items in malaysia are not increasing in term of pricing? how about your personal income? with RM100, what you can buy? Ours Malaysia is one of the most blessed country, with full of natural resources, yet without any disaster. why singapore is doing much more better comparing with malaysia? they have nothing, even water supply also rely on JB.

  • It would be much better if the audience were quiet, listening here from home also i feel annoyed by the crowds -,-...

  • @zshi1 please make up your mind, if not the home ministry, police declared Bersih 2.0 as illegal body, i can guarantee it will not only 20k people attended the peaceful gathering. why the audience was angry? there must some reason behind it. stay away from Malaysia's Print Media, Broadcast Media, which all under control. I am not standing for opposition party, but i do care about all of our future.

  • And the crowd control is not responsibility of EC chair. Ambiga should have said a word to the crowd of 60 misbehaving NGO that she represent..but again, what can u expect from a person who prefer street rally than a peaceful negotiation..

  • I agree with your sentiment that the crowd should behave appropriately. But did you notice that EC Wan Ahmad "talked down" at the audience at every occasion. His language - in Bahasa Malaysia - was very condescending. So, while he was talking calmly, he was definitely not polite nor professional.

Compare the answer that Dato Ambiga gave to the lawyer who challenged her. She said that it was his right, she was not slighted by it and gave a proper answer without humiliating him.

  • @stgreg04 Did u see the whole 9 parts? Wan Ahmad was very polite initially to educate the crowd on some basic stuff that they should know...but he loss his cool after a long while when the crowd shows no proper attention and respect..Even the moderator cannot stand the crowd...so what do u expect?

  • @zshi1 Hi zshi1 - yes, I did watch the 9 parts, twice. The basic rule - as exemplified by Dato Ambiga - is that you show respect to your audience, no matter how unruly they are. Wan Ahmad's duty is to serve the interest of society. The first way to do it is by respecting them. If Wan Ahmad really knows the law - why is our elections in such a mess. The people have the right to be angry because there is widespread fraud and Wan Ahmad is guilty of supporting it. He has no right to be angry.

  • @stgreg04 hmm u seems like u dont get the point though u watched the whole 9 parts..knowing the law does not means you are accountable for it. If u replay the whole 9 parts again you might be able to comprehend that there are many dependencies (system-wise, constitution-wise, regulation-wise, human compliant-wise) that contributed to how it is what it is today. It is not accountability of this EC chair alone.

  • @zshi1 EC must understand why the rakyat is angry with him. Have you seen how David Cameron, Obama or Julia Gillard handles people who shout at them - very politely and with respect. They don't talk down to their fellow citizens. The Rakyat have the right to be angry with Wan Ahmad. Wan Ahmad has no right because he is not offering any help to right this faulty system and instead doing his best to protect it. To change the system - we need an EC that will rise up to the rakyats expectations.

  • @stgreg04 wrong again! did u not see that he was inviting ambiga to even continue and discuss the demand even after sarawak by-election and ambiga said 'enough talk let's walk' ? And define rakyat here? Remember that EC has to rise up to the silent majority 25 millions of registered voters as well, instead of this bersih crowd of what max 20,000?? That's 0.08 percent of the registered voters. Even if EC do not comply with this 0.08% rakyat demand. 99.92% are satisfied! Can you see that?

  • @zshi1 Read my articles on Malaysias Dilemma or New Mandala on the problems with our electoral system. The EC has been part and parcel of assisting BN to stay in power. You've assumed that 99.92% support EC. Ok, kita tunggu dan lihatlah. Salam.

  • Statistic as of July 27, out of 846,090 "Truth that Cannot Be Covered - Bersih 2.0" viewers, only 314 watched this video.(mere negligible 0.037%.) That's how much bersih folks concern about the truth. I think it's fair to assume the same goes to Bersih NGOs representative present in the forum as well. very ill-behaved and ignorance..what a shame!

  • @zshi1 Within two hours (since your post) it's 483 viewers already..... be patient it will grow up to thousands of viewers within a few more hours.....

  • @zshi1 Baru nak tengok la bai.. sabo2 la skit

  • setahu saya..sekarang semua anggota polis memiliki mykad

  • Due credit given to deputy EC Wan Ahmad for his patience and courage to be a part of this debate. Can't say the same for majority of audience, in particular to those who keep making noises and speak while panelist is speaking. Shame on you all! If one wants a 1st class democratic system, one must reciprocate and not act as 3rd class hooligan. I, too do not agree with some of the explanations provided by Encik Wan Ahmad but that does not give the audience the right to disrespect him!

  • "We have smart partnership with Bukit Aman..." at 8:57 hhahaha

  • @arnrnar I agree with your sentiment that the crowd should behave appropriately. But did you notice that EC Wan Ahmad "talked down" at the audience at every occasion. His language - in Bahasa Malaysia - was very condescending. So, while he was talking calmly, he was definitely not polite nor professional.

  • eh.. mana penutup yg semua "Rakyat" dlm bilik tu kena sound Tidak Berakhlak?? Tidak reti nak tunjuk Terima Kasih kepada Sinar Harian? Janganlah sorok "Media Rakyat". Saya ni rakyat Malaysia juga.. nak lihat semuanya..Janganlah macam ni...

  • My opnion.. Debat ini adalah debat yg paling xberakhlak.Debat antara Parti Politik lagi berakhlak.Kenapa jadi mcm ni NGO Bersih.Tolong jgn mencemarkan nama Rakyat(warna kuning dah tercemar,ingat.. warna diRaja M'sia tu).Ambiga is capable to replace Datuk Wan,why dont you step up,Rakyat will benefit a lot.If that is the case, why dont you step up and help Rakyat that way.Jgn bagi alasan lain,if you do for Rakyat,Rakyat will help u.Ppl working in SPRM also rakyat..

  • apakah dengan menggunakan sistem biometrik itu akan menjamin pengundi tersebut mengundi hanya sekali ?
