im not hating on wnba but.. when people say candace parker could compete with nba athletes is pretty sad.. nba players average vertical is around 33 inches.. the average 3/4 court sprint is about 3.3 seconds... average height in the nba is 6 foot 7 226 pounds.. the ball is bigger (making dunking harder).. the 3 pt line farther. the players are testosterone filled elite athletes .. like come on people.. sure she is great at her level..but the nba is filled with the top 450ish players in the world

It's sad that some men are so insecure about their athleticism that they watch WNBA videos just to insult these hard working women. Anyone who has actually watched a WNBA game knows that it is entertaining and the quality of the basketball is good. It isn't the same as the NBA, but give this young league time to grow. The players are getting better each year, and even though they aren't all Kobe Bryant, it is still entertaining basketball.

At this point, SCIENCE takes over and the guys' physical tools fully blossom. I know they "let" her practice with the guys, but she doesn't have the talent to play in the NBA. She is a forward/Center so who would she guard? She would be the slowest and least athletic player in the league and a defensive liablity.

If you've actually watched her play, she brings the ball down and sets up. She plays post, and can shoot from outside. Seriously is Nate Robinson a defensive liability? And he's freakin shorter than her. There are plenty of men in the league who are defensive liabilities

One last thing Nate Robinson's pure athletic ability has allowed him to not become a defensive a defensive liablity at such a small size. The guy is incredibly strong which is why his vertical is 43.5 inches. He went up and blocked Yao Ming in a real game!! Candace could only dream of the things Nate Robinson can do. Hey,  Candace is a good player guy or girl, but to suggest she could even make an impact on a D2 college team, let alone the NBA is insane
