This officer was in the right she wasn't complying with his orders he warned her four different times that he was going to taze her. second of all sure he could have grabbed her and forcefully cuffed her but that could have broken her arm she is 72 years old as she stated multiple times, by using the tazer sure she felt pain but it didn't cause he any injury.
I don't think the officer was completely wrong here but I agree w/ woodman. Officers abuse their use of tazers. He didn't have to use it to force a 72 yr. old grandma to comply. it's like do what I say...ok tazed. Sign this...ok tazed. stand here...ok tazed. cops are forgetting how to use verbal skills in a lot of situations. and when someone is being electrocuted it's funny how they expect them to just forget the pain and do what they are told.
i feel like she diserved to be tased, she was trying to leave the traffic stop, yes he could of thro her on the ground but its just easer to use the taser
