The David Letterman Show play of NY 1/9 isn't tracking in views all that well either.It's difficult to perdict. I agree NY is a great song but its up to Polydor. This is their 6th album since thier 1994 start, to date have sold 10 million albums worldwide, Coldplay formed in 1996 just released their 5th album Mylo Xyloto has sold 50 million albums worldwide.the secret? Better marketing?

@SlideFaith I'm sorry, I don't know the meaning of 'eek'. I searched for it but I couldn't find a definition. Maybe it refers to the sound of the ocean, but that just a guess. This is Gary's favorite song of the record so the meaning of the lyrics is probably very complicated and personal. It's hard to find out ;)
