1) when trying to sound like you know what you're talking about, write in proper English, or everything you say is moot.

2) Yes, you should swing slightly downward, but look at the angle on his bat at the point of contact, he's pretty well under it. He popped the ball up, and it was probably a fenced field, seeing as that's the only way apart from playing at the Metrodome that a pop-up will be a home run. A very small fenced field.

Not saying the kid sucks, but he needs some serious work.
