This is my favorite song from the show - so beautiful and sensual. ALL the guys' solos are amazing, from J. Groff and JGJ all the way through to Gideon, Brian and esp. Skylar - he gives me chills every time. This cast's voices just blended so incredibly & effortlessly. Oh, and the icing on the cake is the way Jon removes his jacket in slow motion at the end. Yum.

melchior had spoken about how he just puts himself in the place of the woman and imagines what she must feel.

I have read the original play and own the music. This is my favorite song (only because Mirror Blue Night isn't too long) I'm seeing this in February. I wish I could have seen Jonathan and lea, but I'm sure the actors who come to LA will do a fine job too.

Got to see this show second row center, final preview performance at The Atlantic Theater off-Broadway. I was so blown away I didn't even see it on Broadway because the night I saw it was incredible. Got to meet and talk with Sater and Sheik. That was also the night they found out the show was moving but they didn't know where and everyone was excited.

@Devvrrrs88: The lyrics aren't wacky if you've seen the show. A lot of changes were made to this and "The Song of Purple Summer" after the CD was made but during the Broadway run. Two sings switched order, also. I would say the show is the definitive standard.

@hondamagna1983 the cd was recorded before the show was "frozen", meaning that it was still being edited and changed each day. Hence the differences between the workshops, off-broadway, and broadway versions.
