The narrator's name was Morteza Avini, he was war time documentary film maker. He ended up stepping on a mine a couple of years after the war and died. Anyways here's what he says:
"One [soldier] has come from Howzeh* and the other owns a dairy shop in Mashhad**, and this third one is a farmer. This [not clear] is like the epic of the hay days of Islam that is being resonated [here] on a broader scale."

My grandad was a general in the Iraq-Iran war on the Iraq side. The Iranians had minimal equipment and weaponry - their gun, a few grenades and a bottle of water. And to eat they just had a bag of peanuts and another of dates. Yet still, they will fight for weeks till they die, and just never give up. They had much worse weapons than us, but they still did not loose.
