Exactly............. Contra 3 was an awesome game for SNES(and Super Probotector too(Why that name - haha!)? Bosses can be so wicked and awesomely designed/dreamed UP by video game companies. I AM making an insane 30 minute 3D short featuring a 360 degree fight with a ROBO-skeleton like this in 2009! Malice : The Alien Wars. Check it at my page. Contra games inspired ;-P

when you find the pattern the bosses are pretty easy.

The one i hate the most is the boss on lvl 5, it's impossible not to get burned while it spins around and the boss is shooting out fire from the holes.

Play on easy, learn the game.

Play on medium, figure out what was removed for easy.

Play on hard and expect boss fights to last a little longer.

It's really an easy game.

lol, yeh, I started playing this when I was about 5 and now I can beat medium nearly perfectly

Two player, I can get a Hard play-though without the need for a single continue.

We usually sacrifice our lives on purpose to end the stupid swirly boss (2nd last level) faster.

Generally, we try and kill each other the entire time by hitting the other with the tank (mua ha ha, team kill!) or rushing upwards in the few areas as fast as possible.

I have beaten this whole game on hard, I'we started with medium difficult level, and in stage 5 of hard, I lost something like 20 lives when I fought against that boss (somehow I can't control my character when the rolling starts). Last level was much easier.

Love the noise when the hands come through the metal background. Plus the way it decapitates itself when it dies....COOL!

The bosses were class. Yeah here in the UK it was called Super Probotector and had two robots instead of Contra with the 2 blokes. Same game though.

I know your cheating and have a turbo-fire joypad so it fires double the shots but no way was that on hard seting, died way to easy and the fact that you have 17 lives is also a clue.

yeah, i used it with Double C, no bosses resisted to me with two C, its all powerful, and the turtle in lvl1 it just explode so easylly :D
