Glad you mentioned activator gel for twist outs. That's probably what I need to get more hold. When I started my journey, I used it to slick down my hair, but never used it for twist or braid outs. Also, your edges look very nice.

Are you using the Proclaim activator gel as a replacement for the other activator gel that changed their formula?

@ivychick99 Hello and thanks so much for commenting. Its one of the replacements however the long aid curl activator has more moisture for my twist when i use it, so thats why i use the proclaim for my edges, Lately i've been twisting with a shea butter mixture.

@luvsdhairGODgaveme Aww thanks so much, i've been doing it since i was a kid my mother use to do it to my edges when i was really small and when i got old enough to do my own hair i tried and tried until i got it like she us to do it. Let me know if you get it now.....

I think it's great that u use an activator gel instead of one of the more drying/hardening gels. I'm gonna have to try that. Thanx for the tutorial

@maximuslyricus Yes it is way less drying, and it has just the right amt. of moisture too for using it as a styling gel as well. Let me know how it works for you ok.
