  • I don't really understand how you can go on pointe without hurting yourself because I tried going on pointe without shoes and it hurt like crazy. How do you do it? Can someone please explain to me the process and whether it hurt the first time or, etc?

  • Pointe By Pointe shows students the three types of feet, and demonstrates how to prepare the ballet shoe. She discusses fundamentals, while pointing out that avoiding bad habits early will help prevent injury later on. Her methodical style is designed to work on muscle strength and a good foundation as the student progresses to more advanced work. ~ Alice Day, Rovi

Barbara at least is not a bigot

  • Pointe doesn't hurt if you do it right and keep your toes in bandaids all the time. I had gel insoles, too and they did it for me.

  • The music prevents a good hearing of the speaker. Is it really necessary to have it when he speaks ?

  • I THINK IM READY!!!

  • Looks painful

  • The girls has feets a duck ihhhh......

  • I want to go on pointe just as bad as any other girl my age, but where I do my dance , you have to be 14 and older to go en pointe. I suggested changing studios, but the teachers are helpful and will sacrifice a whole hour trying to perfect any move that someone is struggling with.. I've been doing ballet for 2 years and I REALLLY wanna go on pointe. Help! Someone respond :(

  • @flufffball19 How old are you now?

You have to know that regardless of your age, two years is nowhere near enough time to prepare for Pointe, I was doing ballet for seven years before my teachers and I started discussing Pointe.

You really have to consider the risks of Pointework and what it does to you. It's not natural for your whole bodyweight to be held up by the support in your shoes and it is excruciatingly painful if you don't get it right. [Continued]

  • @LittleBayPony If you can withstand the endless years of preperation, the pain of standing on your toes, being able to smile and say it dosn't hurt and dealing with blisters and a crapload of blood, you're probably ready.

  • I can toe swap already with no classes what so ever, I just thought it was a good way to freak out my mom.. I didnt know it was ballet xD

  • all my dreams were just shattered haha

  • I am 13 almost 14 and I took one semester of ballet when I was 7 and hated it but after watching this I have all the requirements to go on pointe..........kewl lol

  • @angelisa1998 you must remember its not just physical its also technical, 1 semester of ballet generally won't be enough, majority of girls are in soft shoes for at least 3 years and it can be 5 years plus. Good luck, build your technique and terminology, if you can do it in canvas shoes it will be easier to do on pointe, good luck, keep dancing and talk to your teacher, Happy Dancing

  • what does he mean by weight?

  • @halle1800 well if you think about it you are putting all your weight onto 10 sometimes less toes.. depending on shape or the foot. if you are heavier.. (nothing wrong with being heavier, cause i was before day to day training), you can put a lot of strain on the feet if you cant hold your weight. i found it difficult to go on pointe when i was a heavier weight.

  • very good video! :))

  • If the 2 girls at 1:45 are trying to be in 1st position then they aren't doing the best they can. Your heels need to be closer together; touching and the position of their arms shouldn't exagerate their elbows. Elbows need to be practically invisible meaning arms need to be rounded more.

  • my ballet teacher always says you have to go to a doctor before starting to dance on pointe shoes... she totally wants to be sure, that everything is alright and I think it really good:)

  • Many years ago when I studied ballet I started late, at 13. I lied about my past training to get in a good school and was advanced to a level I wasnt ready for. I went on point at 14. While I had naturally high arches I lacked the back, abdominal, and leg strength for advanced pointe work. eventually I went on to major in dance in college and gave up ballet but I became prone to stress fractures in my feet. I should never have been put on pointe without at least two solid years of training.

  • I really want to do pointe but I've only started taking ballet last year in October. Once, I found my mom's old pointe shoes that were in really good condition, the box wasn't even broken and the shoes were dead. I put them on and stood up in them by supporting myself with the counters. I wouldn't even dare go onto pointe for more then a second without supporting myself. I know the dangers of going en pointe without proper physicality.

  • I really like this video! I've seen some scary videos of little 6 year olds in Russia doing fouettes and double pirouettes and such en pointe, and these videos make me cringe! It drives me crazy that adults can be so blinded by the idea of their kid or student being the next smash hit ballerina that they ignore hundreds of years of wisdom and modern medical insight to put a baby en pointe. It's not just about appearing strong enough, but it's about anatomy still in development. Thanks for this!

  • I hate being a ballerina. All of us have gross feet. :(

  • @xxChantalMichelaxx well that's a stupid comment. you don't have to be one Oo

  • guys by height and weight i think he's referring to not being too overweight (for your height)

  • It's not worth it!!!

  • @1997balletfreak

if you were strongenough you should be on pointe by now, I've just moved into grade six and have been doing point preparation since grade 4 I'm also 14 but have only been doing ballet for 5 years so... idk man maybe it's your ballet school? I think you should be on pointe tbh.

  • wow i have been on pointe for 3 years and i cant do any of that haha

  • I'm in point:) and height shouldn't matter...

  • THATS REALLLLYYYY GOOD ADVICE

  • i'm 25, have absolutely no ballet training and can stand en pointe. it's my party trick. hm, maybe i should've taken it up! oh well, always nice to see people who are truly disciplined encorporate it into something beautiful and worthwhile.

  • Only one of my feet is strong enough and has all of the requirements for Pointe, the other is crap!

  • i used to dance on pointe...then i took an arrow to the knee

  • @genoveva555

Being a dancer on point myself I think you should start going along to some classes to see what you are like you can start at any age last week I got some of my 15 year old friends to come along with me and the dance teacher said some of them were naturals and they were the ones who tried when they were younger and now they are learning the proper way to do the moves they have seen on TV

  • This is Ridiculous! All your saying is that there are some girls that have no chances at all to be in Pointe Shoes. Well guess what? YOUR WRONG! For some girls it takes 6 years, for some it takes 2 weeks. But no matter how long it takes with Ballet Classes, anyone can have Pointe Shoes someday. What your doing here is crushing the dreams of little girls everywhere saying that they can't have Pointe Shoes because their feet aren't good enough. So, do us a favor and DELETE THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SBER1000

Sorry I agree with the man, that's the reality. Dancing on pointes is not natural to the body; you can get injured and damage your feet for the rest of your life. No need to crush your dreams: You can still become a dancer ; try modern dance, lyrical, jazz, contmeporary...

  • @FinaDanceArtSchool so agreed!

  • @SBER1000 um calm down. he wasn't crushing anybody's dream. he was just explaining how important it is to have strong feet for pointe. and it's true, i started pointe before my feet were strong enough and i fell and broke my ankle. also,he's kinda right, some girls have feet that can't handle pointe work so they can't have pointe shoes. haha no offense but i bet you're one of those girls who's trying her best to get pointe shoes but her teacher hasn't said yes yet. if youre not then oops haha

  • @SBER1000 I'm not a dancer, but I agree with this man.It takes a lot to be able use pointe shoes. Even if I have had years of dance practice, I truly doubt that my feet would be able to handle pointe shoes. Some people just have feet that are better built for this type of dancing. Not everyone can become a ballerina who is able to dance en pointe, Not everyone can do gymnastics, run a marathon, or any number of sports and activities.

  • I am 10 years old but I'm not sure if I'm over aged to join ballet for the first time because I feel that I am almost to able to do a split whe I was 4 I practiced every day in my room and about 2 or 3 months ago I was able do do a bridge up to my toes but I fell xD sorry for the story

  • I'm the youngest and the smallest in my class, and I'm actually pretty strong. Not the strongest, but i'm not the weakest. Height shouldn't matter. What if someone had the strongest feet and legs in the world and was too short, or too small. I'm only 4'11.

  • I have been doing ballet for 8 and a half years, I have flat feet and they are naturally flexible. I have also been told by all of my ballet teachers and other dancers that I have very strong feet and great turnout. In your opinion, would I be ready for pointe? Due to privacy reasons I am not to say my age but I am over 13.

  • @nerdsta124 I started pointe when i was 13 so this might be a good starting age, since your feet are very strong. If your teachers recommend that you go en pointe, have observed your technique and feel that you are ready, then go for it! :)

  • @rosieluvsdance97 hey I'm 14 and I am going on pointe in two weeks as well haha COOL!!

  • I went to a dance studio and they told me that I should go en pointe immediately. As much as I would like to dance en pointe, I don't want to start en pointe as soon as I walk into the class

  • My strongest regret is never learning to dance, at fifteen I've excepted that I wouldn't be able to do ballet even if I started now :(

  • @MiistakeTakeer Try it - and prove yourself right :). In another 10 years time you might see how you still could have started ballet and realize that your real passion wasn't for ballet but for another form of dance. You still have a few years before options of studying dance at third level become available, make them count. Regrets are only last resorts not taken advantage of. One of my favorite sayings is "if you don't try, you won't know". G'luck!

  • @MiistakeTakeer I went on pointe at fifteen with only 6 months of dance training, so give it go and see what happens! I'm not the best dancer but my teacher says I've improved loads and I might be in the classical troupe for competitions, so you never know! try it, it'll be worth it.

  • @MrLlamachameleon I'm 15 and have done dancing for 13 years: jazz, tap and contemporary. I started ballet this year and I've been doing it for 4 months. My teachers says that I'm picking it up well, but I think I need to work on holding my turnout. He says that I can go en pointe after Christmas. Do you think I'm ready?

  • i'm 13 and i've been dancing ever since i wad 3 or 4 and i have flat feet. it's one of my BIGGEST insecurites because I want to become a professional dancer , but i have flat feet :( and i compete in competitions also. i've never done pointe. this year is my first year in ballet. i've tooken 3 or 4 years of jazz 2 in tap and 2 years in hip hop. I am in like a showteam and I want to go to Las Vegas Academy for dance but i'm scared they'll judge me on my flat feet. My auditon is on 1/28/12 ;( HELP

  • @StarBurstInUrMouth69 Don't worry about having flat feet! :D My neighbor is a foot pydatrist (or however you spell it!) and I have flat feet. She told me that having flat feet isn't a huge issue for ballerinas really, but to get better feet: Look at some foot exercises around Youtube and keep wearing supportive footwear alot. It's helped me alot and hopefully it should help you too! :)

  • For all you people with flat feet (or anybody who doesn't have high arches, really), two words: Margot Fonteyn.

  • I'm due to go en pointe soon and watching this video i've discovered i actually have quite flexible feet!

  • @SophieMJSophie You can get on pointe with flat feet i have flat feet and im still ok

  • i am 17 could i still aspire to be a dancer or is it too late i want to be en pointe too

  • By the way I'm started ballet when I was 7 and I still see many of the people who started at my age some girls had flat feet but now they are dancing working en pointe

  • Well I'm a 26 yo male who is already a dancer but recently started to do pointe work for balance and strengh and it's amazing... Amazingly hard, painful but at the same time gives a sensation of lightness and my dance has improved a lot, demi pointe feels like effortless now that I can dance en pointe. Boys should learn pointe work since a young age.Girls don't rush and risk your feet your time for pointe will come and then It's hard work not your age take things easy

  • I'm 11 and started point a week ago... :) I LOVE POINTE!!!!!!!

  • i love pointe <3

  • ummm i can't pull my big toe off the floor like that but I'm still good on pointe. and I'm not really sure what that would have to do with pointe?

  • Ah, I couldn't wait until I graduated to pointe. Now my 3-yr-old is eager to dance en pointe. Poor kid's got a loong wait ahead of her..!

  • I'm on pointe now but I can't pull my big toes back. I had a bone growth on the knuckle on my big toe and it's stopping me from a high demi pointe... Is there anything I can do about this? Someone please help me!

  • I'm 14 and I'm starting pointe in 2 weeks! Any suggestions?

  • I'm 18 and was supposed to start pointe in my ballet class when I was 15. I want to do pointe so badly, but my feet aren't exactly made for it: my ankles are weak, I can't keep my legs straight when I go up on pointe/my knees buckle, and I always ALWAYS get cramp in my feet so I can't stay up for longer than a second...but that might be because my shoes are far too narrow round my toes.

  • Today Was A Ballet Recitle And My Instructers Name Is Amber Sandors ! Ive Been In Ballet for 10 Weeks Buit iWant To Do Pointe

  • @SophieMJSophie how? you need an arch to stand in pointe shoes...

  • @enochturnal remember we talked about this your probation doesn't allow you to like small children

  • The best thing going for me is my arches, I have the feet but not the ideal body type. I am built for gymnastics with the feet of a ballet dancer

  • do remember not everyone thrives in a super strict environment, so a relaxed attitude in a relaxed class works just as well.

  • lol my big toes dont bend that far back and im perfectly fine on pointe and i cant lift my big toes up on their own..... i dont remember ever having to do that in my shoes tho so i think im good

  • All my friends who dance are on pointe and there 12! They want me to start but all the kids start at young ages and I'm 12 and I don't wanna be the oldest in class! But pointe looks really cool!

  • i do ballet now and i asked my instuctor when i was going to get on pointe and she said next year you have to have at least 3 years of training im 11 now and ill be 12 in 3 more weeks it 25th of november when do you think she'll put me on pointe

  • I love dancing and I dance like everywhere I go but I quit ballet a couple of years ago. I did it since I was 3 and I did it until the age of six or seven, I want to go en pointe and I have all the requirements, but I have weak ankles. would thus prevent me from going on pointe soon after I got lessons again?

  • i have all the qualities to do en pointe exept the ability to dance!

  • What if my second toe is longer than my big toe?

  • @fobfreako some teachers recommend that you don't go on pointe if this is the case, but it depends on what your teacher wants for you.

  • @fobfreako

It's actually supposed to be good for pointe! Mine are like that, and I've been on pointe since I was 9, never done me any harm! :D Hope this helps? :)

  • @fobfreako From what I've heard, it will depend on the difference in the length of the toes. if it's really small, you could make up the difference by adding a piece of foam, or like material, in the shoe. That way, your weight can still transfer to your big toe. If it's a big gap, then getting onto pointe may be much tougher.

  • i started point when i was 11 is that bad i am 13 now and in grade 6?

  • @emzi459 thats not bad most of our girls start at 11. as long as your feet are strong enough :P

  • @emzi459 As long as your teacher approved of you going en pointe. I went en pointe when i was 13 because that's the age my teacher told me that I was ready.

  • I just want black pointe shoes x)

  • i like the little girls

  • I'm sixteen, and I just started pointe. *cries forever*

  • @Kamkam1200, thank you!

  • @SophieMJSophie haha same but i'm fourteen haha :) and i know people who are 12 and do pointe :o

  • watch out for arthritis later in life?

  • oieeeeeeeeee sou uma bailarinaaa e agora q eu vou entender uq e pointe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • though they have been dancing as long as me. All depends on your strength, ability, and maturity. But you should def go for it!(:

  • @tzuczek I think you should most certainly start ballet back up!!! Now it's up to your teacher to determine when you will be ready or strong enough to start pointe. But if you work hard I'm sure you'll get there(:

I'm 14 and have been dancing 11 years (ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, jazz, and hiphop but mostly ballet) and I started pointe when I was almost 12. Some of my students have started 2 or 3 years after they started dancing and some girls in my class started when they were 13 even t

  • i do ballet and i want to be on pointe sooooooooooooooooooooo bad

  • I would love to do pointe but i stopped ballet when i was little. Altogether i have had 2 years experience with ballet and some other types of dance. I guess i should start ballet again. Anyone know how long it would take before i can do pointe? I'm 16 btw.

  • @tzuczek it's fine to start now! i started at 12 and it took me 2 years before i could go en pointe. and that is only with 1 class a week. you will be totally fine. dont worry, just start now :)

  • i love how the two top comments are contradicting each other

  • @suppkatiekat thankss allott :))))

  • @missmalfoy221

No! They have classes for beginners that are older! My company even has a beginner adult class. I'm 12, by the way.

  • @kamkam1200

Whats the name of ur dance place? I want to start but everything is for little girls!

  • ok welll people are not supost to wear nail polish while on pointe and breaking in the shank they diddnt even talk about i mean really

  • I'm thirteen, and i really want to start ballet. Is it too late for me to start?

  • @missmalfoy221 No, it's never too late :)

  • my feet are completely flat, but i have the bets arches in my ballet class, i have only been going 7 weeks too :)

  • I have flat feet, I'm sixteen, and I have never had professional ballet training. My instructor put me on pointe a week after I started training with her, and I have a solo in my recital coming up.

Every dancer is different and they are all perfect.

Im not putting down what this video says; it's very important to be prepared but don't give up just because something says you have bad feet or you are too young. Always dream

  • @danceratheart14 That's right! I did ballet when I was younger and have taken ballet as well as other dances on and off the past 10 years each time i return My teacher lets me strengthen my legs a bit and lets me be on pointe again. She told me since I am a fast learner, and have strong legs and good arch. Pointe shoes don't hurt me either. :)

  • @danceratheart14 I agree that having "bad feet", as you said, shouldn't make you unable to go on pointe but if your instructor put you on pointe after only a week... That's just not right, you are probably a prodigee for not breaking your feet by now, I was dancing almost 5 years before I got put on pointe

  • im 13 and i want to start ballet clesses.....any suggestions for me?? it would help lotss

  • i just started pointe yesterday! i can't wait until I can do pirouettes!

  • I would give anything to be dancing at pointe!

  • yes! pointe class starts today!(:

  • i'm on pointe but i SUCK! someone help! .. & btw, i've tried DOMING. doesn't work!

  • My studio works you until your turn out is 180, and your demi pointe is flat against a wall.

sixteen and still not on pointe )=

  • *clat

  • I use to be flatfiote

  • I'm 15 and love ballet, I was hoping to become a professional and dance in ballets when I'm older. I had to quit dance the year before I would be going into pointe though. I'm afraid starting pointe at 15 isn't going to give me enough practice to make it a career /:

  • I went on pointe after two years of class. =)

Don't have very good arches, though.

  • I've been dancing on pointe since I was 9 years old! Love it! (it does hurt a little sometimes, though... lol!)

  • Pointe shoes next week!

  • @MimisaysRAWR SAME HERE!

  • POINTE IN TWO YEARS! WOOP WOOP!

  • Next time, quiet the music when you're talking. I could barely understand what you were saying...

  • I'm 16 and do demi-pointe ballet. I just started in September, but I can't wait till I can start doing pointe.

  • im 12 and have been going to a ballet class at my local dance school for 6 years now. my dance teacher says that next summer she is going to test us for pointe shoes (like check our feet and strength and posture). thing is really wasnt to go en pointe but i have like NO ARCH AT ALL my foot is completely flat. i think i have good posture and she is helping our ankle strength. but i don't know if she will let me go en pointe till a few years:(

  • @Mississippi1999 I have flat feet too :\ but I searched on youtube for "how to improve arch ballet" and I came up with tons of exercises and helpful videos. I took pictures of my feet before I started exercising them and after and I can seriously tell a huge difference, a couple millimeters at least in one week, just through stretching and theraband work for 10 mins a day :) You can find tons of stuff on here that can help you!

  • @opossumgirl13 I have flat feet as well, and will be starting pointe very soon...I will do this asap!

  • any tips on loosing enough weight to be able to do pointe better I'm trying everything and I can't het the extra 30 lbs off help

  • i want to dance en pointe but gave up dancing 6 years ago and have flat feet :(

  • @TheHorsemadperson same here.

  • @TheHorsemadperson thats like my life. i am now 14 and started ballet again. i hope to be en pointe next year (:

  • Isn't pointe dancing a little bit unnatural?

  • @42JohnnySmith Well that kind of is the point: ballet isn't supposd to be easy or natural.

  • @42JohnnySmith yes but everything in dance is unnatural. thats why it takes so long to make a professional and it's so difficult for a lot

  • @zoepictures @Gulbosable But then the next question is obvious. Why do something so unnatural? I suppose it's to look good isn't it?

  • Watch my video called The Christmas Ballet Shoe Tale i think yall will like it:)

  • i was worried about not having arches because i have flat feet but my teacher says that i'll be over my box by next week and i've done two classes :) yay

  • Thanks for the info it helped alot

  • If you have tiny feet as an adult, I mean TINY (size 4 little girl's shoes!) Would I still be able to do ballet? I've noticed that most ballet dancers have long skinny feet, but my feet are short, and a little on the wide side, would I EVER be able to do ballet correctly?

  • @TheThistlebird Alina Cojocar has tiny wide feet and she is fantastic! So why not?

  • @TheThistlebird Sorry that is Alina Cojocaru!

  • hablan mucho

  • im taking pointe i just started i have blissters and im 11 but my mind is set on going on to my goal and do what i believe in! :)

  • I'm almost 55 and didn't take up ballet till much later in life. I am small, very lithe and active for my age - just didn't get the chance as a youngster. I have ballet pointes am about to start lessons again with an adult school that is opening in my area but the minute I mention I eventually want to dance en pointe I get strange looks. I have strong muscles as I practice ballet movements every day and can stand en pointe WITHOUT pointe shoes. I just want someone to teach me properly.

  • i've been dancing ballet since i was 4. And started with my pointe when i was 11. I'm actually good with pointe right now.... and i'm 14 :)

  • I'm 5'4 and 130 pounds and 13 years old. Will i beable to go on pointe?

  • WHAT ABOUT FLAT FEET?!?!

  • @buddhagirl0819 people with flat feet can also do ballet! the girl in this video at 0.47 is a living proof hehe!

  • @buddhagirl0819 Yes and actually I remember from ballet school classmates with flat feet who eventually develop arch (And I'm talking about male dancer who only work on demi pointe, women who work on pointe have even more chance to dance and even get a little arche) The thing is constance and very strong willing (And tolerance to pain of course)

  • @Heartlessiceboy thanks.

  • I am a 14 year old and I took ballet before for 6 years but i stopped when i was 9. Do you think it's too late for me to start again and work my way up to pointe work?

  • What is the name of the song at 4:40?

  • I love watching girls en pointe! I am an accompanist for a ballet school :) I want to dance but I am already 15 :/

  • Just a little comment to say you dint have to be one of those girls who started ballet at 2 or whatever to get to pointe and have amazing technique. I started ballet and performing arts at 13, but I have high arches and a 5 1/2 degree pointe rate so I'm all good there but I have really weak ankles and have to work hard in pointe class, so it doesn't matter how long it takes to get there just enjoy it and look after your feet.

  • why does this song make me think of twilight?? O.O

  • @gagadream111 My sister and I are 5'10" and 5'9" respectively, and have been doing pointe for years, so it would be no problem although I would not expect you to go on pointe right away. For me, I had been in classes from when I was 2 1/2 years old and only started pointe when I was 13

  • im the youngest pointe student my dance school ever had! Im 11.

  • 2:57 woah he just teleported like two inches back lol

  • Hi. I'm 13 and I started ballet when I was five then stopped when I was nine or ten because I temporary lost interest and the dance times didn't fit in. However, I now would like to start again but I was wondering if I'd ever be ready for pointe? I would only be dancing for fun not as a professional career or anything like that but I'm 5 foot 9 so is that too tall??

  • @EllieKMusic Wow, this is exactly my situation! I'm 13, I stopped dancing when I was younger, I want to start again and I wonder if I'll ever be ready for pointe.

But, never the less, your height shouldn't stop you, I'm not letting anything stop me anymore. I've decided to start again.

    Good Luck :)

  • @iwillgetintoxicated Thanks xx

  • @EllieKMusic OMG my position exactly! minus the being 5 foot 9 :( im 5 foot 4

  • @EllieKMusic omgg i'm 13 and i'm not on pointe either. it seems like EVERYONE is doing pointe at our age. its so annoying. but no your not too tall! teachers love tall dancers being it looks like they have more elegance and grace(:

  • @DaNcEr4LifE1656 Thanks. Good luck getting on pointe in the future xx

  • @DaNcEr4LifE1656 Yeah I know, I might start doing it again soon :) and good luck getting on pointe :)

  • @EllieKMusic

    I don't think that here's a height limit....

  • Comment removed

  • To every young woman / girl out there who wants to dance ballet/ pointe: Go for it! Don't focus on the wonderkids who started dancing at 2 and are blessed with exquisite ballet technique . Focus on your dream, your body and your passion. A good ballet school will help you, encourage you and teach you. With lots of training, practice, patience and love, you will see yourself reach those goals, once thought unattainable. You may not become a prima ballerina but your passion will take further than

  • I'm 5:5 and I'm only 12. Will I be too tall to become a Ballerina?! D: xx

  • @LeSackgirl No Way !!! im 13 now and 5:8 but when i was 12 i was 5:7 and ive done ballet since i was three. and if thats something you really wnt to do then go for it but no you are defenitley not to tall!

  • what if you have collapsed arches but meet all the other requirements???

  • I've always wanted to be on pointe but im scared that i weigh to much and will break my toes? Can dancers that are not the average size still do pointe?

  • how much should a dancer weigh then?

  • i started dance when i was 2 (young i know) i went en pointe at 8, i know it was young but my teacher knew i was ready. i danced till i was 10, and now i always regret stopping. I am 16 now and i will never be able to go back en point due to many injuries on my right ankle. i do feet exercises everyday in hope of gaining my strength :)

  • I take point and I k ow a girl that is an EXTRODONARY ballet dancer, she's 9, and she takes pionte!!!! Is that good or bad??? But she is a really good dancer and really flexible..... Please say if that's good or bad...

  • how old do you think i should be to go on point? and how many years of ballet should you have alredy completed?
