@ballerleo what`s going on in his head is not that important to him,he accepted his feelings, his thoughts, and ultimately himself...he`s let go of all his masks if you will, his personality is naked, out there, for everyone to see and feel, that`s why we feel so good when we listen to him or matt bellamy,or jimmi hendrix
oh man when i saw this at lollapalooza in 2008 and they song this and played fireworks in the background of downtown chicago i cried =) so fuckin awesome
Simply mindblowing! It may have been seven years ago now but I'll never forget the atmosphere in the crowd. It was a warm and barmy evening and the images at 2m 54secs sum it all up......

First of all, Coldplay ARE better.
Second, they're just not. Radiohead are revolutionary, and Coldplay managed to emulate (at best) some of Radiohead's earlier stuff. Radiohead managed to evolve into an epic matured band who have inspired many (including Coldplay).
yeah coldplay is better than a turd. Chris Martin is a Thom York wanabe with the tonsils the size of a watermelon. They have some catchy hits, that's all.
sometimes i wonder whats going on in thom yorke's head. And if i think about it for too long, i kind of crack. He's just too much of a genius for me to imagine whats going on in his head.
@sgtpopoy Its a human song, a song about how he has felt and using socviety around him to express that. Thom felt lonely as a chil due to his eye problems and was a very intense child.
Dejame recomendarte una banda que aunque no son birtanicos tiene muy buenas canciones ellos son The Gathering y en especial te sugiero canciones de sus discos: if then else, souvenirs y home.
anybody elose agree that ed is a little underused? because hes a great guitarist yet we dont hear alot of him because thom is always playing guitar aswell. songs like 2+2=5 and bodysnatchers dont really need thom as an extra guitarist.:S
You're a fool, their new CD was one of their greatest. Now if you want to hear a weak Radiohead CD, listen to Pablo Honey. No wonder Radiohead tried to ditch that shitty "Creep" song.

Come on, it's not a bad song, but it's seriously overrated and on the verge of insignificant when you've got the rest of the Radiohead catalouge in front of you.
if ur talking about his singing its an amp effect called reverb most expensive amps have a little reverb on them. guitars then i think its either reverb agin or its a delay pedal OR its an echo effect amp(not a pedal just an amp with it)
for some reason people keep on posting the same video multiple times over, ihopped over to this one b/c the other was giving me trouble, this has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times
Magical performance! It may have been the beer, it may have been the crowd, it may well have been the whole Glasto experience but Radioheads performance that night will stay with me for a long time!!

It isn't "about" the development of Canary Warf you stupid fuck, it is INSPIRED by that. God some people are so stupid.

@figaz555 jesus christ calm down, so what if he got the song's meaning different from the original intention, it's not a big deal.

@sgtpopoy It's also about plastic trees... that are not real.
jackcampbell21 1 year ago
@sgtpopoy
Not really. That is actually an incredibly simple minded and almost cliched way of looking at it.
figaz555 1 year ago
@sgtpopoy it's not like it's some metaphoric challenge to glean the meaning. Some folks' desire to see what they want is frightening.

buckleygeneration 3 years ago
come on what ?
obviusly songs make you remember very especific memories , feeling etc. There is not an exact way to determine if a song is good or bad.
If theres a whole bunch who thinks is a really special song then IT IS . That doesnt mean is overrated .
PS I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG AND THE BENDS COULD BE THEIR BEST ALBUM. MY OPINION :-)

You can hear some form of echo effect if you listen carefully enough, is that Ed or Jonny on one of their pedals or is it just a general mic effect?
Lilmissmonkey 3 years ago
if ur talking about his singing its an amp effect called reverb most expensive amps have a little reverb on them. guitars then i think its either reverb agin or its a delay pedal OR its an echo effect amp(not a pedal just an amp with it)
Eragon00125 3 years ago
The other thing the band does a lot is looping. sometimes it's a pedal. In this case it's most likely a delay effect on the sound board.
