One thing i like about kandi is that she is a smart businesswoman. So its true her cd was a flop and asylum records might drop her lol but it seems like she could care less! She makes more money from her kandi koated inc business. It incorporates her songs - production company - sex toy line - tags retail store and finally real estate. Also in that same interview kandi mentioned when jd wrote his book he had negative comments about tocha. So she figured tamika got mad and her and jd cause she thought they were dissing her sister...just drama. Tamika had no busy telling the public who kandi slept with. Kandi did confirm in sister 2 sister 6 months ago she and jd did cross the friendship line but is adamant that is not why xscape broke up. Tamika scott started drama by saying that. Also something else...it appears that kandi and Tiny are cool now...there friendship was always up and down over the year. But now Kandi is smart,. I think she enjoys working with Tiny (they have recorded and written together over the years) but she likes it cause its a "part time thing" and they are not in Xscape or under contract to work together. Tiny got mad cause when they wrote "No Scrubs" Kandi got all the attention. Now Kandi is smart....she works with Tiny but its a part time thing.
Her voice is unique, and only old school would understand why she can sing the way she can and get away with it. She sings from her heart and what she sings she means. But society's changed people like listening to artists like Rihanna and Cher Lloyd. Its all about money and fame. It's not about talent. If she sang this song in the 90's I'm sure everyone would be singing it till this day. I doubt anyone even knows what Xscape is

I believe Tocha was jealous cause kandi was getting all the attention from the fellas and JD had her singing lead all the time. Currently the issue now is Kandi and the sister. Tameka Scott has been trashing Kandi's repuation sayings she is a hoe and slept with JD only to sing lead and THAT was the reason Xscape broke up. Both sisters seems like there were jealous of Kandi.

Personally i thought half the cd was great / the other half garbage.....The song "Leave U" is the weakest cut on the cd....and "LeRoy Jones" if given the main lead off single would have gotten more people interested in the CD. I read the current issue of Sister To Sister mag....Kandi is in there with an interview with Jamie.. Interesting interview ..a lot of topics covered. As far as her music she claims she is still on Warner Brothers records label, but she and the company are basically done with the cd and she aint working on another one. She said they only shipped 80,000 copies of the cd and they are all sold out and they are not distributing more copies. So all u guys like me that have copies are lucky!
I love Kandi but I do not love her voice on its own. I liked her voice in a group setting.....on its own it is annoying....but she is a dope writer and the only one who has any money on the ATL show....WITHOUT lying on her back to get it. Actual talent got her where she is...go Kandi.

Personally i thought half the cd was great / the other half garbage.....The song "Leave U" is the weakest cut on the cd....and "LeRoy Jones" if given the main lead off single would have gotten more people interested in the CD. Plus is it occur to her that she could have at least 1 or2 songs on there that had Rasheeda rapping!

I read the current issue of Sister To Sister mag....Kandi is in there with an interview with Jamie.. Interesting interview ..a lot of topics covered. As far as her music she claims she is still on Warner Brothers records label, but she and the company are basically done with the cd and she aint working on another one. She said they only shipped 80,000 copies of the cd and they are all sold out and they are not distributing more copies. So all u guys like me that have copies are lucky!
