once again, this would only violate the rules if these ads and modeling gigs were a part of a "national campaign." The rule is in legal language and as a lay person you must not understand contract language. The rule only prohibits participation in a "national campaign" within the last five years. If she was not in a "national campaign" as defined in the fashion world, she was not disqualified. Commercials and t.v. shows and non-professional internet wig ads do not = a "national campaign."

so what if she was "recruited" to be on the show. That is not a guarantee that she would win. If you follow the show, on Season 6, Sara was "recruited" to be on the show in a shopping mall. She had no desire to be a model until the producers approached her in the mall and suggested she tryout because she looked like she had potential. Sara did not win and if she did win it would not have been because the show was "rigged" but because Sara was the best. Saleisha was the best. End of Story.

ou would not be saying it was "rigged" if she was not Black. If a White girl uses her connections to get her foot in the door, there is no problem because this is the way of the world. As soon as a Black girl networks for opportunities, it is a "scandal". You are just a bunch of overt & undercover RACISTS. You don't know what the hell U R talking about. Elite models are signed for three-year contracts, but the binding papers for the America's Next Top Model winner is a shorter one-year agreement. Saleisha's contract did not get shortened. That is only a rumor. Her contract is for one year because that is the the prize for ANTM. This is better for Saleisha and any other winner because they can change agencies after 1 year if they are not satisfied as opposed to be bound to the usual 3 years.

The biggest load of rubbish I have ever read on one of these message boards. You are clearly poorly educated and misinformed, so let me put this simply for you. Whilst I agree that top model was most probably not rigged people think it may have been because of the evidence which suggests so NOT BECAUSE SALEISHA IS BLACK. Get over yourself, and think next time before you call someone a racist, because they may turn around and give you a smack. And as far as I can see that mightn't be a bad thing.

that is not in the rule anywhere. you are making that up. The producers of the show were well aware of her prior experience as she disclosed it on her application. Also if you watched the show you would know they talked about her prior experiences on the show because some girls were jealous of this.

On American idol, David Archuletta won the "Star Search" competition (a national tv show) when he was 11 years old. You must think he should not be on American Idol or that it is "rigged" if he wins. Get over it--no contestant is required to be completely green or fresh off the boat.

Saleisha DESERVED to win the competition, Heather was a alright model but everyone babied her! I still get mad that they picked Heather over LISA!! thjat was the most shady episode! Mr. Jay helped that loser Heather with her lines for the commericial and they still allowed her to countinue Heather lost the Go-See challenge and the BItch deserved to go home! GO SALEISHA!!! Wooo!!! Her walk is Fierce!
